Invitation for potential investors

Page 1

Dear Sirs,

I would like to introduce you to my new scenario "Ordeal 1945", for which I am looking for contacts abroad, as there are currently insufficient film potentials in Slovenia (technical, material, personal, financial) for the realization of such an ambitious project:

The complete script is also translated in English:

The inspiration for this project is from a great movie – Katyn

The world is not aware enough of the fact that the largest mass massacres (in tens of thousands) AFTER The Second World War in Europe were perpetrated in Tito's Yugoslavia.

I would be very grateful if you could possibly help me find any partners to realize this project.

So far, my initiative has been taken very positively from everyone to whom I have turned to. I am particularly pleased by the positive response of experts who know the historical background well.

Mass grave investigator and official crime detective Pavel Jamnik: "I read your script. It is a very correct narrative and presentation of the testimonies of survivors. I would somehow say that these are united narratives in one story, as published in 1968 in the book »V Rogu ležimo pobiti«, which was published in Buenos Aires."

Lojze Peterle, President of the First Slovenian Free Government: "Thank you for being sent. I read the synopsis and I understand exactly what it is. I'm sure it will (one day) happen. Sometimes the sky opens. It did thirty years ago," he said.

The director of the Museum of Contemporary History of Slovenia, Dr. Jože Dežman, connected me to two good connosseurs of this problem in England, who both supported the project and connected me to a third:

Count Nikolai Tolstoy (I entirely agree that attention should be focussed on the sufferings of the victims and the guilt of their murderers: i.e. Tito and his unsavoury gang.),

Keith Miles (I have now read the synopsis and your interview. I would like you to succeed in your venture. I think you are right to get the film made abroad to avoid local accusations of propaganda.),

Marcus Ferrar, author of the book Slovenia 1945: (Thank you for letting me know of your interesting project. I will ask contacts here if they see prospects.) - Slovenia 1945: Memories of Death and Survival After World War II:

It is quite clear that appropriate partners and film artists abroad need to be found to start the project. At the moment, we are mainly looking for contacts with any of the biggest producers (Netflix, Amazon, HGO)...

Your help with this will be very welcome!

Kind regards,

tone.tomazic@siol.net
