Where is everything during the week?

Events from Monday 24th – Friday 28th June are going to be held in various venues around Purley and neighbouring areas. Please see the Venue listings and Map to get the details of where everything is.

Diversity

Equal Opportunities are a hugely important and intrinsic part of the festival. Whilst the festival is a secular event we want it to truly reflect the diversity of our Community.

Litter

Please pick it up and put it in the bins provided – it’s a horrible job for the stewards to do so please keep the park tidy and clean for everyone.

Get Involved

It’s an exciting and fun project and we welcome volunteers from all walks of life and need a range of skills to make the festival a success. We are very friendly and supportive and you don’t need any experience. If you would like to get involved please contact Fiona on 07590 678 962 or fiona_lipscombe@yahoo.com

Lost property and lost children

If you lose your children or any personal items please go to the information tent by the entrance to the field next to the St John’s Ambulance. It’s a great help if your children keep your phone number on them so we can call you if they get lost.

Special Needs

Purley Festival is an event for everyone and we have made every effort to ensure that it is accessible. If you have any concerns or special requirements please do let us know and we will try and accommodate them. We are always trying to improve this so please fill out a feedback form with your thoughts.

INFORMATION

How do I get to Purley?

Children

Children are very welcome at the festival but please take responsibility for them at all times, it will be busy!

Glass Policy

Please feel free to bring a picnic and drinks but please make sure you use plastic. Glass is easily broken, it’s very difficult to remove it completely from the grass and often little ones are running around in bare feet.

Stewards and Security

They are there to help, please do not hesitate to ask them for information or help or just have a chat with them and tell them how brilliant the festival is and they are – it’ll make their day!
