ÁNI Art Academies is a non-profit organization that provides an intensive multi-year art skills education to aspiring artists around the world. Utilizing the highly successful training system developed by artist Anthony J. Waichulis, the ÀNI Art Academies’ Program is designed to promote creative freedom through logic and discipline.
A collaborative project conceived and founded by Tim Reynolds, ÀNI Art Academies empowers students to create, express, and communicate in new and exciting ways. Mr. Reynolds felt that placing some of the strongest artistic training into the hands of many aspiring artists around the world would give rise to a generation of creatives capable of contributing exciting new ideas, sharing robust cultures, and pioneering new means of connection and communication through expression on a scale not seen before. In the beginning, each creative is limited by a lack of skill – however, in the end, they are bound only by their imagination.
The name ‘ÀNI‘ was chosen to represent this massive undertaking as it is a play on the Swahili word ‘Andjani,’ meaning the “road” or the “path ahead.”
Today, ÀNI Art Academies is proud to offer this Program in its entirety to new generations of emerging artists around the globe. Sponsored by the luxurious ÀNI Private Resorts and the Tim Reynolds Foundation, full-tuition scholarships and financial aid
are given to every student so that they may concentrate on their education. We are fully funded and committed to the goals of our mission; as such, we do not currently accept donations or government contributions. The only thing that ÀNI asks in return from the students is that they share this kindness along their journey.
Art is a very personal and special aspect of life that gives great joy. Creative individuals share a special kinship that inspires us to search out like-minded souls that we can share our passion and our journey with.
We love art. We want to create from, share, and express that which inspires us. We need to share art’s possibilities, joys and struggles –but what we really want to share is the knowhow. Great Artists are not born with all of the skills needed to effectively communicate their ideas, rather, they attain these skills through quality education. We can trace our teacher’s teachers back like a family tree all the way to Leonardo Da Vinci and Michelangelo of the Renaissance. What will these Apprentices share with us in the decades and centuries ahead? Now we get to see the start of many Artists’ lifelong journeys, beginning with ÀNI Art Academies.
How will a new generation of great Artists impact this already charming town? We shall see as we begin on this path that will ultimately become a great journey.

In keeping with the core principles of the ÀNI Art Academies’ educational philosophy, each Academy celebrates the influence of regional culture on both curriculum and architectural aesthetic. ÀNI Art Academies Waichulis:
Located in the beautiful mountain region of Northeastern Pennsylvania, ÀNI Art Academies Waichulis is housed on six acres of tranquil and densely wooded forest.
ÀNI Art Academies Anguilla:
Perched on a hill sloping towards one of Anguilla’s few farmlands, ÀNI Art Academies Anguilla sits only steps from one of the island’s most famous secluded beaches, Little Bay.
ÀNI Art Academies Dominicana:
The ÀNI Art Academies Dominicana studios are located on a beautiful four-acre site on the Dominican Republic’s North Coast. The area is fantastic, with rolling plush hills spilling down the coastline and many beautiful beaches.
ÀNI Art Academies Thailand:
The ÀNI Art Academies Thailand studios are situated on picturesque Koh Yoi Noi, a beautiful, mountainous island off the Andaman peninsula’s west coast. The gorgeous views allow for both inspiration and a sense of unmatched serenity.
ÀNI Art Academies America:
Red Bank, New Jersey, is the perfect spot for ÀNI Art Academies America. Situated on the banks of the beautiful Navesink River, Red Bank boasts an appreciation for fine arts and is known for an array of prestigious galleries, shops, restaurants, and hotels.
ÀNI Art Academies Sri Lanka:
The ÀNI Art Academies Sri Lanka studios are located near the Central South Coast of Sri Lanka in the Matara District. The six-building campus is perched above vibrant rice fields and is surrounded by lush vegetation and sprawling tea plantations.
