Introducing PIPE PIPE is a paid professional immersion program for educators, a partnership between the Anglican Schools Commission (ASC) and the University of Western Australia’s (UWA) Graduate School of Education. The program offers paid experience within an ASC school with an experienced mentor teacher to provide guidance and support. It is designed to ensure future teachers are classroom ready. To attract high quality candidates, PIPE will offer meaningful experience for pre-service teachers that is structured around their study commitments.

Eligibility Initially, only pre-service teachers studying the Bachelor of Education (Primary) (Honours) at UWA will be eligible to participate in the trial. It is envisaged that PIPE will expand to include secondary pre-service teachers in coming years.
