Technical Lead: Responsibilities included drafting construction documents, executing design ideas, and ownership over project Revit model(s). In addition to 3D modeling, I was responsible for hosting consultant coordination meetings, keeping clients and stakeholders engaged, and contributed to design presentations. I was performing construction administration duties on two projects at the time of my departure.
Designer II - Architect: Began working as the owner of all ceiling coordination and detailing for a three story 160,00 square foot University classroom building renovation. This included the design and detailing of eight 200sf custom skylight wells which would serve as a major design feature within the project’s atrium. After leading the project through code review and approval I acted as the EHDD’s lead contact for construction administration. During project down-time I also contributed to additional projects within the studio such as the design of a corporate campus, and an aquarium master plan.
Designer II: Contributed to the planning, design, documentation, and DSA approval of multiple projects within the Education market. Including K-12, Higher Education, and Sport Facilities. I’ve served as both a member of a larger project team as well as a sole draftsman under the supervision of a project manager. I have worked to establish myself as a resource for daylighting design have helped project teams by providing digital analysis of entire buildings as well as hand calculations of individual windows. I have also helped to develop firm-wide BIM standards for daylighting design which have been integrated into each new project.
