PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Internship – David M Schwarz

Washington, DC ,Summer 2024

•Researched and designed light fixtures for the dormitory, conducted 2 site visits to understand the firm’s projects and design philosophy, and assisted in preparing construction documentation for the Design Development submission.

•Designed a cupola for a new dorm at Florida A&M University (FAMU). The design balanced style and function, making the dorm visually appealing and practical for students.

Internship - Kideney Architects

Buffalo, NY Summer 2022 ,Winter 2023

•Developed 3D model structure for three elementary schools, Based on historic plans and details from 1960-2005.

•Conducted 3 site surveys with my supervisor at elementary schools to measure the beams above the ceiling and determine the ceiling height.

•Certificate of Completion Fiberglass Fenestration in Commercial Buildings (Pella)

•Assisted in the design of mechanical systems and HVAC equipment. Designed the placement of an RTU unit, VAV boxes, and diffusers using Revit.
