The survey was designed to probe how feelings of disorganization impact men and women. “People have different levels of tolerance for disorganization in their lives, and what is acceptable for one person may be intolerable for another,” NAPO executive director Jennifer Pastore Monroy, CAE said. “This was particularly true for women.” Monroy’s advice to help streamline one’s environment? “Don’t wait until you feel out of control to tackle the stressors in your life. Having a professional organizer or productivity expert to help look at things with fresh eyes can encourage new day-today behaviors to create the needed change, whether you are a man or a woman.”
