Faire Collection’s Horizons, Captures Global Sophistication Brooklyn, New York, January 24, 2014 – Faire Collection today announces the launch of its SS’14 Horizons line of vibrant and contemporary jewelry, summer scarves and hats. Horizons explores uncharted territory—from the peaceful landscapes of Vietnam, to the jungles of Ecuador and the iconic cityscapes of New York. The designs also draw influence from the 1950s, an era when high fashion and haute couture were plentiful on the streets—from Paris to Rio de Janeiro—and echoed in cinema and music.

The Monroe Necklace (Vietnam, $115, pictured above), handmade from up-cycled horn, captures undertones of the art deco era with its ornately carved angular shapes. Owning a soft, feminine influence, the Celia Necklace (Ecuador, $29) is made with bold colored woven leather, finished with metal accents, and delicately hangs from a brass chain. Horizons also offers the Mosaic Cuff (Vietnam, $56), which fuses an artistic array of geometric patterns juxtaposed with bright colored paint on the interior of this up-cycled horn bracelet. The brightly colored Quill Earrings (Ecuador, $20) are an elegant drop style, handcarved from tagua and shaped to resemble their namesake, the quill.
