RehaCom – Frequently asked questions Installation of a new version / update We recommend a data base backup at regular intervals. Before the installation the data base has to be saved. You get to the data base backup via System  Data backup  Backup/ Restore. You can find a detailed description in the manual on the RehaCom CD.

RehaCom dongle is not recognised! Please disconnect the dongle from your computer. Insert the RehaCom CD, click on the button in the starting window, and follow the installation instruction. If the starting window of the CD does not open automatically, it is possible that the auto start function of your CD ROM is deactivated. In this case, you can also start the driver installation "manually". The driver is on the RehaCom CD in the folder \Sentinel. There please execute Sentinel Protection Installer 7.4.0. Even if the message 'driver already installed' appears, you should continue the installation. After the completion of the installation, the computer should be restarted and the dongle reconnected to the PC. With the next start of RehaCom you have to tell the programme that you want to work with the full version. In the RehaCom main window please choose: 

 „With a patient´s keyboard or dongle“

If the connected USB is still not recognised, please insert the RehaCom CD and execute the automatic hardware recognition. It can be started via  Set up  Control panel  Hardware (also see Windows manual). During the next start of RehaCom you have to tell the program that you want to work with the full version. In the RehaCom main window please choose: 

 „With a patient´s keyboard or dongle“

Where are the manuals for the RehaCom procedures? The individual RehaCom procedure manuals are on the CD in the directory \Manual\Englisch.win. After the installation, a Windows help program is available on the hard drive. Each procedure has its corresponding help file (AUFM, GESI, VIGI …). Directly from RehaCom you can press the key F1 for the corresponding help.
