Darkness is a witch. It falls quickly, Creeping upon the hills, The mountains, the oceans. Darkness consumes all. It falls quickly, And to hurl a glowing disk into it Is hard work. Darkness knows no superior. Darkness is her own god. Darkness is soft.
It birthed the first light From within. An ancient call to start the fires To burn all fear away Voices surging with raw being To protect oneself, to eviscerate The welcoming foe.
Darkness is unforgiving. It lies, cold, concrete, tangible Casting itself on the world. Darkness is lonely, Even though she is everywhere. Darkness is patient. It lives. It breathes. It sees. Darkness was the beginning. What shall the end be?
But now it’ s fading. It’ s dying. All the love The magic The stories of an old gammer
The mountains light up And the sun has just risen.
