MAGAZINE. Chocolate No. 1.
The magazine made for the 'Art Direction' assignment, was conceived within the framework of four contemporary manifests, from which I chose the 'SlowFood Manifesto' published in the 'Gambero Rosso' in 1989. I thought the 30th anniversary of the 'Slow-food' movement was an unmissable occasion.
Based on its principles, I conceived the structure of the magazine, divided into four sections, and I welcomed the opportunity to write and compile information about cacao and chocolate. Including reviews about producers and farmers, pastry chefs and social entrepreneurs. Something in which, Venezuela –my country of origin– is traditionally an extreme excellence cacao producer and now also an exquisite chocolate maker.
