Welcome
We are delighted to welcome you to our second instalment of our Year 2 Football Tournament, which promises to be an exciting event for the children in our local community.
We have a huge number of matches today and further in to the programme you will see an outline of our pitches. Pitches 7 and 8 can be used whilst teams are not playing a match.

We hope you have a wonderful morning at Amesbury.
Refreshments
BBQ bacon baps and sausages will available, along with other snacks, tea, coffee and drinks. Cash and cards are accepted. This will all be served from outside our Cricket Pavillion.
Toilets
Event toilets are provided.
First Aid
Qualified First Aid Staff are on hand to help deal with any injuries.
Tournament Rules
• 5 a-side. Each squad will consist of a maximum of 7 players.
• A size 3 ball will be used.
• Each game will be 7 minutes one way.
• In order for the schedule to be maintained, please have teams ready to play at the appointed time.
• Normal rules of football will apply. As usual there will be no offside. Players must be 5 metres back at kick-off and free kicks.
• Goal kicks are taken from anywhere in the penalty area.
• The retreat rule will be used in all games.
• Substitutions to be made when there is a stoppage in play.
• In the event of a clash of colours, bibs will be provided.
Refereeing
We will be providing officials on all of the pitches. These are young adults who are able, but relatively inexperienced. I am sure that all on the touchline will offer them support and encouragement.
In the interest of fun and enjoyment, if one team is winning by 3 clear scores, we encourage staff to take measures to allow for a more competitive match.
