Dear Friends: Happy New Year! May this message reach you and your families with the good wishes of good health and a Prosperous New Year! The year 2020 brought us surprises that no one expected or had ever imagined in our lifetime. We are still inside this storm, and we are all waiting for the quiet to come. The quiet together with the hope of seeing our best life together with our loved ones and everything we are linked to. The IACS is, for many, a point of reference not only for what it can give us today but for what it represents for many Italians, Italian Americans, and for all others who love Italy. It represents the Italian culture and traditions that after centuries of history are still alive in the memory and memories that we carry inside us after leaving our native country, relatives, friends and also smells and flavors of Bella Italia. The Cultural Center this new year is to renew all this and asks for the trust of the community, of the members enrolled so that these values are protected, defended, disseminated, educated, and handed down to the new generations and that always remember that "there is no freedom without knowledge". Personally, I hope that the efforts of the next president and the elected directors can achieve this goal and proudly bring it as an identity of Culture in the community and in other ethnic groups of exchange and knowledge of the Italian millennial culture, already loved by many in the world.The IACS sees a dream of a new building dedicated to Italian culture, and in the dream of the knight Cav. Ramo Salerno and all the others who still believe in the Italian American Cultural Society. The new home will need more help and support, participation and love of this infinite world called ITALY!
