Technical Specifications: Print Magazine Magazine size (full page with full bleed): 20 cm x 26.6 cm - 7.87 in x 10.47 in ONLY PDF FILES ARE ACCEPTED 1º Digital Specifications:
High resolution PDF and images with 300 dpi resolution • We recommend submitting color proofs with your files; the magazine is not responsible for color issues if the client does not provide such proofs • Laser prints will not be accepted as color proofs
2º Platform:
Macintosh and PC.
3º Formats:
High resolution PDF
4º Spot Colors:
All colors must be converted to CMYK.
5º Trapping:
• Clients are responsible for trapping. Black should always be set to overprint colors. • Texts should not be in CMYK; use an overprint color.
6º File:
Always allow for 5 mm of bleed. Make sure the ad is the adequate size for which it was designed.
7º Filename:
Do not duplicate names. The filename should include edition number, section where it will be published and the name of the client. E.g.: “335_español_sheraton.pdf”
8º Using Fonts:
All fonts must be converted to vector illustrations.
* The client accepts responsibility if the ads are not sent according to the magazine’s technical specifications. * We recommend that clients use professional prepress services and check the quality of the materials before sending them. * The best format for sending files is pdf/x1-1. * Clients assume responsibility for errors or printing problems if a warning comes after the deadline for submitting materials.
