The metaverse will take place either within a Nasty Gal experience within Glastonbury or a Nasty Gal experience within Coachella, depending on which the attendee will like to attend. As both festivals are highly popular, this will allow customers to experience the festivals and learn more about the Nasty Gal brand without a fee. The Nastiverse will take place in early April, since Coachella begins in mid-April and Glastonbury starts in June, giving enough time to build hype about the two festivals as well as the Nasty Gal vintage festival items. The Nasty Gal metaverse’s purpose is to encourage people to purchase vintage festival clothing from Nasty Gal prior to the event even if they are not attending, as a statement piece for the following year.
The Nastiverse is primarily targeted at the age demographic of 18 to 34, who are based within the US and the UK due to the location of the two festivals. However, because Nasty Gal’s demographic is global, the metaverse is the appropriate way to target such a large population within a digital realm. Attendees must be fashion-forward thinkers with an interest in vintage clothing, music, festivals, and the Nasty Gal brand.
The Nastiverse will become a yearly event with adaptations with the festivals changing each year to ensure Nasty Gal customers are engaged and will encourage growth within the metaverse. An increase in awareness, within the UK and the US, surrounding Nasty Gal’s major vintage reboot especially regarding the brands festival vintage wear resulting in the Nasty Gal brand being a popular brand to buy from for their vintage wear.
Create a new platform for Nasty Gal in which they can connect with consumers within a different environment with the possibility of hosting other events and pop-ups within the digital space.
