One of the country’s most popular nostalgia shows makes a welcome return with its new 2011 production. Step back in time with Neil Sands and his wonderful West End cast in an afternoon filled with musical memories. From the fabulous 40’s with the likes of Vera Lynn, in to the 50’s and the golden days of rock n roll, swinging through the 60’s with The Beatles, Dusty and finally into the 70’s with Abba.

Join Ballet Theatre UK in their beautiful re-telling of Hans Christian Andersen’s classic fairy tale ballet, The Snow Queen. This spectacular production follows the story of Gerda and her quest to find her friend Kay, whom the Snow Queen has placed under an evil spell. Gerda’s fantastic adventure takes her on a journey across the frozen north where she encounters a band of gypsies, enchanted reindeer and a mysterious and reclusive Lapland woman. Gerda is told by the mysterious woman to continue travelling north, where she will find Kay and the Snow Queen’s Palace of Ice. Only Gerda’s love for Kay can release him from the spell and break the Snow Queen’s curse of eternal winter. Ballet Theatre UK’s renowned company of international dancers, beautiful costumes and glittering stage sets combine to create a magnificent spectacle, all set to a glorious and magical score.

Dave examines situations in life where words really don’t come easy. These include parents explaining the facts of life, newspaper stories, adolescent chat-up lines, police speak and song lyrics; from the lazy, through surreal to the ridiculous. Throw in a Champion The Wonder Horse sing-a-long and you have all the ingredients for a rich comedy casserole - a sort of Lexicon-Carne !

Gilbert O’Sullivan has accumulated no less than fourteen top forty hits, including Clair, Alone Again (Naturally), Get Down and Nothing Rhymed, with number one singles on both sides of the Atlantic. His live performances showcase his tremendous musical abilities as he is joined on stage by his 11-piece band, to present a stunning 2-hour performance.
