Concrete aggregate that is used at the top of each of the openings of the building is a structural element that is designed to take the compression forces that are applied to the windows and doors of building.
Other Notes:
Average sized bricks used throughout the building, and covers the entire structure, including the internal walls. The colour of the bricks are quite dull and this is repeated throughout the building, giving a very formal theme.
Double Glazed Glass on each of the windows Thickness of the wall are approximately 4 bricks thick, 85cm which reflects the monolith type structure of the building 757 Swanston Street.

The building is quite dull and grey in colour which focuses around the central theme of the building to be industrial. A number of steel frames are used in this building, as well as large columns of croncrete slabs at intervals. It consists of three glass panels, lined (irregularly through each level) with steel members and then a 34 cm thick slab of concrete. Through the middle of the building there is a large steel member that joins from one end of the building to the other and is used to help the tensile forces exerted on the building. The large conrete beams are used to keep the building structurally viable and keep compressive strength throughout the building. In the last section of the glass panels, there are two steel members and one in the middle section nad none on the top of the building, suggesting that there is more force exerted on the building at the bottom of the building. The building is quite dull and grey in colour which focuses around the central theme of the building to be somewhat industrial.
