Pandemic and Cities: A data-driven communication platform for spatially just planning in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area.
This study set out with the aim of finding alternatives to growth models built on foundations of spatial justice theories, that fit to crises and pandemic scenarios. It further tests out a possible tool that can be deployed for the desired outcome during this time. The focus was set on the AMA, and a tailored outlook was handled for this region. However, the larger and global finding is the process described in this study; where crises management is an iterative approach as development and changes are ongoing and evolving in the midst of catastrophes.
