Welcome to your employee magazine
This quarter has truly been all about recognition. From our Annual Safer Together Awards and Inspire Awards to industry short-listings and wins, and of course, the continued commitment shown by our teammates both onshore and offshore. We’ve had so much to celebrate.
Beyond these achievements, we’ve also seen our people consistently step up to support the communities where we operate, whether through charity initiatives, mental health awareness or volunteering and mentoring efforts. This spirit of giving back is something that makes me incredibly proud.
This year has also marked a significant chapter in our journey. Following the acquisition, we have made tremendous progress in aligning our teams as part of our transformation. The collaboration, adaptability and determination shown across the business have been outstanding. From integrating systems and processes to the coming together of our operational teams and strengthening our shared culture, these efforts have laid a strong foundation for future success.
As we move into the festive season, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to each of you. Your hard work, dedication and resilience have been key to our success and I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished together.
For those taking well-deserved time off, I hope you relax, recharge and enjoy quality time with family and loved ones. For those who will continue working over the holiday period to keep our operations running safely and smoothly, thank you. Your efforts do not go unnoticed and are deeply appreciated.
Looking ahead, I’m excited about what the future holds. With such a talented and committed team, I have no doubt we will continue to reach new heights in the coming year.
Thank you once again for your dedication, enthusiasm and teamwork. Wishing you all a happy and healthy holiday season.
Stay safe,

Steve Hunt Executive Vice President - Operations

Integration and Growth Across Corporate Functions
We’re embracing new opportunities and expanding roles into corporate functions, paving the way for greater collaboration and growth. This evolution is about unlocking potential, creating pathways for development, and keeping our people at the heart of every decision as we build a stronger, more connected future.
Jennie Ramsay Brand, Marketing & Communications Manager
We were among the first to align with the wider Altrad team and the Client Services, Strategy and Marketing & Communications (CSSMC) function, who have been incredibly welcoming. From day one, we hit the ground running; building strong connections, while working to ensure our activities and strategy were fully aligned. Becoming part of the wider function has broadened our remit and strengthened our skill-set, adding real value and creating fantastic opportunities for individual’s development and growth.

I have also continued to be a member of the transformation team, focused on aligning the legacy Stork UK business with Altrad, identifying best practices and communicating these effectively.
Looking ahead to 2026, I’m excited to see major projects come to life, including the refresh of Altrad’s regional website. I look forward to seeing the team thrive, deliver lasting value and shape a stronger future together.
Laurence Appleton
Technology Services & Transformation Manager
The changes in my role have seen me move away from the previous role of Group IT Infrastructure Manager, to a more IT/business delivery role, focusing on other transformation and integration projects within the wider Altrad business.

A highlight so far has been the work we are delivering is being recognised by the wider Altrad business. Within a short space of time, I’ve seen myself working in conjunction with a number of business entities and Group/ Holdings ICT teams in a number of high-profile projects.
I’m a strong believer in the Altrad ethos of ‘our people create endless possibilities’, where employees and teams are empowered to take responsibility, lead and delivery high quality deliverables.
Katherine Webster
Workforce Engagement & Inclusion Manager
Having supported the transformation team phase 1 activities it was identified that the natural next step for my role was to extend the Employee Engagement and Inclusion activities within my remit at AIS to the broader Altrad UKIN business.

It has been a privilege to share what has been achieved within our legacy business and very positive to see the Board of Directors interest and desire to extend these activities across the wider business.
Together we have an opportunity to continue our journey of developing our people focused activities, ensuring the experience at work is positive, inclusive and our people are supported every step of the way.
Aligned for Success: People Strategy Meets DRIVE
Since the acquisition, we’ve been working behind the scenes to shape the future of our DRIVE platform. In the new year, we’re thrilled to roll out DRIVE across Altrad, a bespoke employee engagement platform designed to bring our people together and foster a culture of care, inclusion, and collaboration.
Our People Strategy sets out a clear ambition: to be an industry-leading, progressive employer, attracting, retaining, and developing best-in-class talent. Building on this, DRIVE reflects the priority areas you identified through the engagement survey - Development, Recognition, Inclusion, Voice, and Engagement.
SafeZone+ Sets a New Standard
Under each pillar, we’ve continued to focus on the specific actions from our People Strategy to bring these commitments to life:

Since mid September, our scaffolding team have achieved an impressive 89% completion rate for SafeZone+ training. That’s 347 team members fully trained. The remaining 11% are scheduled for completion by the 12th of December, with any final sessions planned for January 2026.
347 89% 11%
team members fully trained completion rate to complete the training by end of 2025
SafeZone+ is a vital part of our transformation process, where we committed to reviewing and aligning working practices to the highest standards to ensure we are all Safer Together. The training goes beyond industry guidance. While NASC SG4:22 sets the benchmark for scaffolding safety, Altrad implements additional measures to ensure full compliance with the Work at Height Regulations 2005.
Originally introduced in 2017, SafeZone+ was created to simplify rules and enhance safety following incidents within the scaffolding industry. It has been continually updated and improved, and today it represents the minimum standard for all Altrad scaffolders.
Thank you to everyone who has completed their training – your commitment makes a real difference. Together, we are building a safer, stronger future.
Stay Current. Stay Engaged.

Shaping Futures: 2025/26 Career Ready Mentors

Our ongoing commitment to developing the young workforce took another step forward as we extended our relationship with Career Ready for another year to mentor 3 students throughout the next academic year.
Career Ready supports young people in their final study years at secondary school to provide a range of insights and help prepare them for the world of work.
At Altrad, we’re proud to support young people in discovering their strengths, exploring career pathways, and building the confidence to thrive.

Building Careers: Foundation Apprenticeships in Focus
In September, we welcomed two Foundation Apprentices from Kemnay Academy, Phoebe Ritchie and Aleyshia Gregory, who began their business skills work placement with us. They join us every Tuesday afternoon, and their placement will run until the end of March, 2026.
As part of their Foundation Apprenticeship:
• The first unit they are working on focuses on Designing and Producing Complex Documents. This involves creating three business-relevant documents such as excel spreadsheets, word reports, powerpoint presentations, posters, flyers, social media posts, meeting minutes, or surveys
• They will also complete a project, supported by their mentors: Tracy Middleton will work with Aleyshia and Evelyn McCann with Phoebe.
This placement provides valuable hands-on experience, helping students develop practical skills and prepare for future employment or further study before leaving school.
Meet our new mentors:
• Craig McHattie, Project Manager
• Pauline Burnett, HSEQ Co-ordinator
• Jamie Shingler, Rope Access Technician
A huge thank you to our mentors for stepping into such an important role, guiding and inspiring young people, sharing your knowledge and experiences and helping shape the next generation of talent.
Craig McHattie shared: “The launch event was a really good session and it was nice meeting the mentees for the first time in a group environment.
The reason I signed up was because I feel that the programme is something that could have helped me when I was leaving school, as I didn’t really know what I wanted to do or what jobs were really out there.
Having had a variety of roles since leaving school from serving my time as a joiner to then joining CAPE (now Altrad) as an intern and working my way through roles including work pack engineer, project engineer and now project manager, I think I can give a good overview of construction and oil and gas work.
If I can help someone find a career and assist them, I think that will be fulfilling.”

Engineering the Future: Non Destructive testing (NDT) Apprenticeship Pathways
Alfie Foxton-Smith, ANDT Specialist SME and Richie Lobb, Asset Integrity Contract Delivery Manager recently visited Middlesbrough College to speak with NVQ Level 3 Welding Engineering apprentices about our role in the industry.
Richie provided an overview of Altrad and the range of services we offer, while Alfie delivered an insightful presentation on NDT, followed by a Q&A session with the students.
The session lasted a couple of hours and was very well received by both the college and the students, who found it invaluable in gaining a clearer understanding of the engineering world beyond the classroom.

We take pride in all of our achievements and we want you to know this by our commitment to recognising and rewarding success.
A Win for Our People: Altrad Shines at OEUK
We’re proud to share that Altrad’s UK Offshore Sector was named winner of the OEUK People & Culture Award.
On the 20th of November, industry peers gathered at Aberdeen’s P&J Live for the 2025 OEUK Awards, a prestigious event that celebrates the innovation, dedication, and excellence driving our sector forward.
Why did we win?
We’ve built a workplace where individuals feel valued, respected, and empowered to bring their authentic self to work. This isn’t just a statement, it’s a commitment that shapes everything we do.
Through initiatives such as employee networks, inclusive leadership training and a strong focus on diversity, we’ve created an environment that amplifies voices and experiences, ensuring everyone feels heard and supported.
We’ve invested in programmes that break down barriers, foster collaboration and encourage innovation. From mentoring opportunities to wellbeing resources, each initiative is designed to help our people thrive, professionally and personally.
This award is more than a trophy. It’s a testament to the passion, dedication, and hard work our teams bring every single day. It proves that when we work together, embrace inclusion and champion diversity, we create something truly exceptional, a culture where people don’t just work, they belong.

Katherine Webster, Workforce Engagement & Inclusion Manager

“Winning the People & Culture Award highlights the incredible dedication of our teams and our shared commitment to building a workplace where everyone feels valued, empowered, and inspired to bring their authentic selves every day.”

Safety First: Forties Bravo Celebrates a Major Milestone
Stephen Keith, Forties Bravo Focal Point, proudly announced the platform’s remarkable achievement of over 1,200 days without a Lost Time Incident (LTI).
Operating on an extremely busy platform, the Forties Bravo core team handles scaffolding, deck operations, and helicopter duties daily.
This milestone reflects the team’s unwavering commitment to safety and demonstrates how a proactive, safety-first mindset can create a culture where every individual feels responsible for protecting themselves and their colleagues, ultimately driving operational excellence.

Raising Standards: ISO 37007:2016 Achieved by Legal & Quality
Our Legal and Quality Teams have successfully achieved ISO 37001:2016 Anti-Bribery Certification in record time, less than eight months under new ownership with Altrad and more than two months ahead of our target.
This certification is a mandatory requirement for all Altrad entities by year-end, and the Offshore sector was able to fast-track the process thanks to strong foundations laid by our previous compliance programme.
Achieving this milestone in such a short timeframe is a testament to the dedication, collaboration, and commitment to integrity across the business. It reinforces our zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption and demonstrates how a united effort can deliver exceptional results under challenging timelines.
Stars of 2025: Inspire Conference and Awards
On the 19th of November, leaders from across the UK, Ireland, Nordics and Poland gathered for our annual conference to reflect on the year and set sights on 2026 and beyond. The energy was incredible as discussions centred on Disruptive Thinking and Organic Growthtwo powerful drivers shaping the region’s next chapter.
In the evening, the fifth annual Inspire Awards Ceremony followed. These awards celebrated our people who go above and beyond, demonstrating innovation, collaboration and a strong commitment to our values, recognising the fantastic work they deliver every day.
This year, we featured eight award categories designed to identify and reward the excellence our people and teams bring to our business, our clients and our communities.
We are proud to celebrate our winners and extend a huge congratulations to each of them for inspiring us and making a difference every day!
Thank you again to everyone who nominated colleagues across the business. Without your nominations, these awards would not be possible.

The Safety Spot: HSEQ in Focus
Q4 Campaign: Behavioural SafetyPersonal Decision Making
This quarter, we reinforced our shared commitment across the industry to embed behavioural safety at the heart of everything we do. Our goal remained the same; to ensure everyone goes home safe, every single day. Overall this year, our safety performance has been solid, so thanks to you all for your commitment and support so far. However, we have seen a number of minor events occur over the last few months resulting in first aid cases and near misses, some attributed to decision making and situational awareness.
This campaign encouraged each of us to pause, think, and make conscious, safe decisions before acting. By strengthening our awareness of how and why we make the choices we do, we can reduce risk and prevent incidents before they occur.

Human behaviour is at the core of safety performance. While procedures, systems and controls provide the framework, it’s our attitudes, habits and decisions that ultimately determine outcomes. Many incidents occur not because people don’t know what to do, but because, in the moment, they make a different choice - perhaps to save time, help someone out, or because they’ve “done it that way before.” Understanding these behavioural drivers helps us create a culture where working safely and correctly, occurs naturally.

Ultimately, behavioural safety is about people and choices, it’s about awareness, accountability, and care for yourselves and your colleagues.
By aligning our efforts with wider industry initiatives, we continue to strengthen our culture, drive improvement, and ensure that safety remains at the heart of everything we do.
Safe Weight Limit for Offshore Travel
The average weight of offshore workers in the UK Continental Shelf (UKCS) has increased to approximately 96.5kg, with 5% of personnel now exceeding 125kg. This rise presents safety challenges, particularly in emergency situations where evacuation and rescue equipment may be limited. HM Coastguard has advised that individuals above 124.7kg may not be safely winched from offshore installations.
To address this, OEUK has introduced a recommended weight limit of 124kg for outbound offshore travel. This limit is based on helicopter rescue capacity and aims to improve safety across the sector. The change has been communicated with offshore employee representatives and is supported by key industry groups including Step Change in Safety and OEUK, in which Altrad actively participates.

From 1 November 2026, individuals weighing more than 124kg will no longer be permitted to travel offshore. Until then, travel remains permitted for those above the limit
Roll out phases:
OEUK has developed a phased rollout to support the transition. The introduction and awareness phase will run from 1 November 2025 to 31 January 2026, followed by a transition phase from 1 February to 31 October 2026. Mandatory implementation begins on 1 November 2026.
Support available to you:
Support and resources will be available to help individuals achieve sustainable weight loss if required Altrad employees are encouraged to contact the Occupational Health team if they have concerns about the new weight limit or would like support with weight management. All enquiries will be treated confidentially and handled by the Occupational Health team.

Support is available exclusively to Altrad employees and can be accessed by completing this form by clicking here or scanning the QR code.
Alternatively you can email: AIS.OH@altrad.com
Further details and guidance from OEUK and Step Change in Safety will be released from 1 November and shared with the business.

We will always take account of the differences between people and groups and value those differences, providing a sense of belonging and respect.
The Power of Networks: Year-End Wrap

After more than a year of progress, we want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible success of our Employee Network Groups, their engaging sessions, the positive impact they’ve made across the business and their outstanding achievement in winning at the Annual Safer Together Awards. These accomplishments wouldn’t have been possible without the passion, commitment, and support of every one of you. Together, we’ve built something truly meaningful, and this is just the beginning.

AYP Presents: A Night Dedicated to Young Professionals
We were delighted to sponsor the Aberdeen Young Professionals (AYP) Network Annual Ball in November and our Early Careers Network Hosts had the privilege of attending on the night.
Craig Mann, Project Manager and Jamie Shingler, Rope Access Technician shared the event brought together representatives from AYP, network members at all stages of their career journey as well as industry peers.
Taking the opportunity to connect, they were inspired by the stories of personal drive amongst attendees to develop themselves, seek opportunities to progress in their careers and take the bold step to network beyond their own workplace.

October Awareness: Empower, Educate & Include
As part of our ongoing DE&I journey, we remain committed to fostering, understanding and inclusion across the business. Central to this commitment is the support and connection offered through our employee network groups. Together, we create communities built on empathy and knowledge, helping to shape a workplace where everyone feels valued and included.
Menopause Awareness Month was dedicated to increasing understanding and support for individuals experiencing menopause.
Do you feel there’s enough awareness about menopause?
Rachel Chance, Project Controls Co-ordinator shared: “This is the second company that has offered menopause awareness sessions and without these I would have had zero exposure to it. The last time I was an in educational setting was 18 at college and it is not something touched on at that age, and I’ve not yet received anything from the NHS or other institutions on the matter.
I certainly don’t think there’s enough recognition for how detrimental this can be to women, considering how severe the effects of it can be and how long lasting they can be, spanning over a decade in some cases.”
ADHD Awareness Month focused on raising awareness of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), sharing experiences, and promoting greater acceptance of neurodiversity. Below are some helpful daily tips for anyone navigating ADHD. Click on the image or scan the QR code to read more.

What’s something about ADHD you wish more people understood?
Pauline Burnett, HSEQ Co-ordinator shared: “I wish more people understood that ADHD isn’t a lack of effort or discipline. It’s a difference in how the brain processes information and attention. People with ADHD can be incredibly capable and driven, especially when supported in the right environment. Small adjustments, empathy, and understanding can make a huge difference in helping someone thrive.”
From Service to Safety: Steve Mann’s Journey
Tell us about your time in the forces...
I joined the Royal Air Force in 2003 as a trainee HGV mechanic, completing my training two years later before being posted to RAF Kinloss.
During my 9 years at Kinloss, I completed two detachments to the Falklands and several others across the UK. In 2007, I undertook assimilation training, qualifying to work on airfield ground equipment. I was promoted to Corporal in 2009.
After a posting to RAF Leuchars in 2012, I moved to RAF Lossiemouth. There, I was promoted to Sergeant. I also deployed to Afghanistan, probably one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of my career.

In 2018, I returned to Leuchars, where I served until 2025, including a four-month detachment to Cyprus.
How did you feel as you started planning your departure and considering roles out with the forces?
I felt ready for a new challenge, but was aware it would be a major change. After 22 years in a structured and team-focused environment, the transition to civilian life required careful thought.
I took time to reflect on the skills and experience I’d gained and how they could transfer into a new role. While it was strange to think about leaving behind the routine and social aspect of service life, I was also motivated by the prospect of applying what I’d learned in a different setting and continuing to develop both personally and professionally.
What support did you get in preparing to apply and move into a new industry?
As part of my career transition, I was able to use my accumulated learning credits to complete training that would strengthen my employability beyond the forces. Having gained experience in health and safety through my managerial responsibilities, I identified it as a natural area to develop further. Having already completed my IOSH Managing Safely and Risk Assessors courses, I used my credits to enrol on a NEBOSH course to help build on my existing knowledge and prepare me for the next stage of my career.
What attracted you to Altrad?
During my resettlement period, I had the opportunity to complete a work placement with the HSEQ department, which I discovered through the Career Transition Partnership. I was already familiar with the company from attending previous employment fairs, so when the placement came up, I was eager to take part and see firsthand how the company operated and to explore whether a career in Health and Safety was the right direction for me after leaving the forces.
How have you experienced your first year?
My first year with the company has flown by, and it’s been eye-opening to see how much more considered and proactive health and safety practices are in the oil & gas industry compared to what I was used to in the military.
I’ve really enjoyed being given responsibility for my own contracts and serving as the Advisor for R-Plant, which feels familiar to my previous working environment. The role has been a great way to apply my existing experience whilst continuing to learn something new every day.
What are the highlights of your time with Altrad so far?
I’m really happy with how well the move from the military into the industry has gone. The role has given me a better understanding of health and safety, and the chance to build on my NEBOSH training with proper hands-on experience.
I’ve been fortunate to work with knowledgeable, approachable colleagues who are always willing to offer support, which has made settling in much easier. It’s been a busy but rewarding first year, and I’ve learned a lot that will help me keep developing in the job.
What would you say to encourage more forces personnel to be taken on in teams across the business?
After 22 years in the Royal Air Force, I found that the skills and experience I gained are highly valued here. From my work placement, it was clear that my previous background could make a real contribution.
For anyone leaving the forces, this company is a great place to apply your skills, take on new challenges, and continue developing professionally in a supportive environment.

International Men’s Day: Celebrating Men Who Make a Difference
International Men’s Day took place on the 19th of November and celebrated the positive impact men and boys have on society, communities, families and workplaces, while also emphasising the importance of their health and wellbeing.
The theme for 2025 was “Celebrating Men and Boys” and invited people around the world to celebrate the everyday achievements of men and boys in all walks of life.
A message from your Men’s Health Network Hosts
To ensure we celebrate men, we need to continue encouraging open conversations and reducing stigma around vulnerability to continue creating a supportive environment.
There are various supported groups dedicated to providing help and resources for men’s mental health such as Men in Mind and Men United.
These achievements highlight our continued commitment to creating accessible pathways for service leavers, recognising the exceptional skills, discipline, and values they bring to our workforce.
The award will be formally presented at the FTG Annual Awards Ceremony in Cheltenham on the 2nd of February 2026.
A huge thank-you to everyone involved in supporting veteran recruitment and development across our organisation - this recognition reflects your efforts and dedication.

Strength in Diversity: Persons with Disabilities Day
Persons with Disabilities Day is observed annually on the 3rd of December to promote awareness and advocate for the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities.
The theme for 2025 was “Fostering disability inclusive societies for advancing social progress.” This theme emphasised the need for inclusive practices across all sectors of society to ensure that persons with disabilities can participate fully and equally.
We all have the power to create a workplace that is supportive and welcoming.
Here are some top tips to be more inclusive:
• Actively Listen: Support others
• Learn: Be inquisitive to learn
• Be an ally: Support your teammates
• Get involved: Sign up for activities
• Share: Your personal story matters Together, We Embrace All.

Engagement Survey Results: Next Steps
Earlier this year, colleagues from the legacy Altrad business completed the engagement survey. The results have given us a deeper understanding of your experiences at Altrad. As a reminder, participation and satisfaction results overall have improved, a true testament to our journey so far which includes all our people to grow a positive culture of care.

Our Board of Directors, Senior Leadership Team and HR have worked closely together to review the survey results, identify key priorities and actions, and agree on an action plan - both overall and specific to your division.
Together we have identified five top priorities:
• Leaders are open and honest
• You feel valued and appreciated
• Growth and development opportunities
• Two-way communication and engagement is prioritised
• Building an Inclusive Culture for all

A New Chapter: Evolving Our Employee Representative Groups
Vikki Piper, HR Business Partner, recently reviewed our Employee Representative Groups and led a series of training sessions. Here, she shares her key insights:
“The plan to refresh the Employee Representative Scheme was not because it wasn’t working, in fact, it’s already done a lot of great things, but because a few thoughtful tweaks can make it even stronger as we move forward as part of Altrad.
I’ve always felt it’s important for everyone to have a voice and be genuinely heard, and that those on the ground feel valued, supported, and listened to. That’s why I wanted to be involved in this relaunch, to help build on what already works and make sure our reps have the tools, clarity, and confidence to represent their colleagues effectively.
The updated scheme keeps the core strengths in place while adding clearer guidance, refreshed training, a revised agenda, and a new meeting rhythm. It’s all about making communication smoother, supporting our reps better, and ensuring we continue to create an open twoway channel between employees and the business.
Nothing drastic, just small improvements that help us carry forward the good work already being done, with a bit of extra support and maybe even a touch more enjoyment in the process.”
Training has been delivered to the onsite and Aberdeen employee reps. The feedback for this has been amazing so far.
Feedback from the training:
• The statements for being nonbiased and buying yourself some time to remain impartial and gather more information.
• A break down of what my role is and how to effectively use this to help myself and other members of staff
• Ideas and support from Vikki. Vikki has also indicated she will give us future support with packs and meetings.
• Vikki was very clear in explaining how to react and answer any questions that the workforce may have.
• The breakdown of what is expected of the reps in terms of relaying information to our populations and how we can support employees during certain procedures.
• I thought the presentation was very informative and I enjoyed the mix of video clips to break up the reading.

CALM: Campaign Against Living Miserably
Together, Altrad and CALM are setting out to make mental health more visible across the Industrial Sector.
We believe mental health should be visible, valued, and treated with the same importance as physical health.
Workers in the industrial sector are four times more likely to die by suicide. It’s a devastating statistic - and one we must change.
We are continuing to build confidence, raise awareness and break the stigma, while ensuring every member of our workforce knows how to support someone who’s struggling.
To help share this message, we’ve produced a video with a powerful statement - it’s time to make mental health more visible.

Let’s keep the conversation going, and help make mental health something we can all talk about.
We’re taking this message beyond our sites and offices and into the wider world. As our campaign rolls out across our social media channels, we encourage you to share it and help keep the conversation going.
Further support:
Visit our dedicated site created in collaboration with CALM: highervisibility.altradservices.com.
We’ll continue to build on this, adding more resources and tools as our partnership grows.

We want you to know and own our vision, understanding the part you play to get us there, while keeping you informed during every step of our journey.
The Harbour Contract Pays Tribute to Veterans
Earlier this year, our Aberdeen based Harbour Energy contract delivery team partnered with our client to fund a bespoke remembrance bench for the local community. Located at the T-junction of Pitmedden Road and Victoria Street in Dyce, it offers a lasting tribute and a place for reflection in a busy pedestrian area.
Working with Harbour Energy, Dyce in Bloom and Aberdeen City Council, we made this project possible. On the 11th of November, we gathered with the community for a service led by Oil & Gas Chaplain, Reverend Michael Mair, closing with a piper playing The Unknown Warrior.
Thank you to everyone involved in creating something meaningful for our community.

A Night Under the Stars: Making a Difference Together
As part of our Teesside charity partnership with The Junction Foundation, we were honoured to be the headline sponsor of their inaugural fundraising event, A Night Under the Stars.
The Junction’s mission, to support children, young people, and families across the Tees Valley, is something we value deeply at Altrad. Thanks to the generosity of everyone involved, the evening raised over £14,000, helping the charity continue its vital work in the community.
Beth Major, CEO of The Junction commented: “Thanks to all at Altrad and a special shout out to Alfie Foxton-Smith, for all you have done to support us in our mission to ensure no child or young person struggles alone. We are really grateful to you for sponsoring, and everything the team have donefrom life altering mentorship into work, to walks, runs and awards - it a best practice example of true charity / corporate partnership”
Together, we’re helping shape brighter futures and empowering the next generation!

Looking Back, Moving Forward: CSR Achievements
Emma Stewart, Communications Officer and CSR Team Lead shared:
A year on from stepping into the CSR Team Lead role, it’s been inspiring to witness the kindness and dedication shown by colleagues across the UK in supporting local communities. From fundraising efforts to volunteering initiatives, the commitment to making a difference has been truly remarkable.
One of the most rewarding parts of this journey has been hearing the stories, both from our teammates and the charities themselves, about how our support is creating real impact. These accounts of lives changed and communities strengthened never fail to remind me why this work matters and I never tire of hearing them.
It’s also been amazing to see that the work we are doing has been recognised externally for a second year running, with our shortlisting in the Neighbour of the Year category at the 2025 OEUK Awards. This recognition is a testament to our collective effort.

A massive thank you to everyone who has supported our CSR initiatives throughout 2025, your commitment has made a real difference in our communities and strengthened the values we stand for.
Together, we’ve achieved incredible milestones this year and I’m excited to see how we can build on that momentum in 2026 under the Altrad banner. With your continued passion and collaboration, I’m confident we’ll reach even greater heights and create an even bigger impact.
