Casa Oro is an institution of San Juan Del Sur, the oldest hostel and surf shop in town. Before that, it was a common place of rest for gold diggers on the 'gold route' moving up the Pacific Coast. Over the last year, they've undergone a massive transformation in pursuit of a whole new world. The space continues to be a major hub in town where you can find everything you need from real food to beds to surf lessons. Best of all, Casa Oro is a business with a big heart.
