The Guest Pass facilitates holidaymakers’ the exploration of the Dolomites Region Seiser Alm as well as the wider region of South Tyrol, providing a single-ticket access to all types of public transport, such as train and bus. Once you have activated your Guest Pass, it remains valid for the durations of your stay. Guests who have booked a longer stay, receive a second Guest Pass after 7 days. The Guest Pass is personal and non-transferable. Dogs don’t get the Guest Pass and have to pay the regular fare in the busses of the Public Transport Services. The transfer of dogs in the shuttle busses is free of charge. If the Guest Pass receives the stamping “unleserlich/illeggibile” (meaning “unreadable”) when it is voided, it is still valid that day. In the evening, it has to be substituted for a new Guest Pass by your accommodation.
Attention: The Guest Pass is not valid for the following lines: Seiser Alm Express (Bus Route 10: Seis > Kastelruth > Compatsch), Almbus (Bus Route 11: Compatsch > Saltria) and N170 Nightliner Schlern.
Attention: In the Shuttle Buses and in the buses of the Public Transport the Guest Pass must be validated in case of every journey. You have to indicate first name, last name and length of stay on the back of the Guest Pass.

Shuttle Buses (Bus Route 2, 3, 3A, 5, 13, 15)
The following tickets are accepted in the Shuttle Buses as a ticket: Combi Card, Seiser Alm Card Gold, Südtirol Alto Adige Guest Pass and all tickets of the Public Transport Services Südtirol/Alto Adige. For all other passengers the one-day-ticket (3.00 €), the 3-dayticket (7.00 €) and the 7-day ticket (9.00 €) are available at the Automatic Ticket Distribution, the 1-day ticket is also available at the Tourist Office of Kastelruth and Seis am Schlern. It is not possible to purchase tickets on the shuttle buses. Children born after 01.01.2016 free of charge.
Public Transport Buses
(Bus Route 170, 172, 176, 177, 185)
On public buses all tickets of the Public Transport Services are valid. The tickets are issued on the bus. Also the Guest card “Südtirol Alto Adige Guest Pass” is valid on all public services. Tickets for the Shuttle-Buses (1-day, 3-day and 7-day, Combi Card and Seiser Alm Card Gold) are not accepted on public services. Children (0-5) free of charge.
Seiser Alm Express (Bus Route 10): Seis > Kastelruth > Seiser Alm
The Seiser Alm Express is included only in the Combi Card and the Seiser Alm Card Gold. All other tickets are not valid not even the Südtirol Alto Adige Guest Pass. When purchased individually, a round-trip ticket costs 26.50 €. You can purchase tickets directly on the buses. Children (born after 01.01.2016) free of charge.
Almbus (Bus Route 11): Compatsch > Ritsch
The Almbus is included only in the Combi Card and in the Seiser Alm Card Gold. All other tickets also the Südtirol Alto Adige Guest Pass are not valid.

> Round-trip ticket: 6.00 €
You can get the one-way as well as the roundtrip ticket from the ticket dispenser at the bus stop in Compatsch or in Saltria and directly in the bus.
> 3-day ticket: 9.00 €

The 3-days and the 7-days ticket are available at the tourist office Seiser Alm in Compatsch.
Nightliner Schlern N170 (Friday and Saturday night)
The night taxi, known as night liner, operates on Fridays and Saturdays between Panider Sattel (Kastelruth) and Völs am Schlern.

The road to the landscape conservation area Seiser Alm is closed to private traffic from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. During this time you can get to the Seiser Alm with the Seiser Alm Aerial Cableway or by bus. You can return from Compatsch at any time. Guests, who have booked an accomodation on the Seiser Alm, have the following special permission to use their cars:
> You can arrive and depart from the accomodation you have booked at any time.
> During your stay you can drive from your hotel to Compatsch before 10.00 am and after 5.00 pm. Between 10.00 am and 5.00 pm private traffic is not allowed on the Seiser Alm.
> you will receive your special authorization to use your car either on your arrival at the Info-Point in St. Valentin, in the Seiser Alm Tourist Office or directly from your host.
Our village centers are subject to traffic-reducing measures and at certain times there are total bans on traffic. The times when traffic is banned vary according to the season. Please note the appropriate information signs. Parking your caravan overnight outside the camping place is forbidden.
