Developed through a collaboration between the City of Boston's Department of Neighborhood Development and the Department of Innovation and Technology, RentSmart Boston compiles data from BOS:311 and the City's Inspectional Services Division to give prospective tenants a more complete picture of the homes and apartments they are considering renting. The tool prompts users for an address and generates a report to assist prospective tenants in understanding any previous issues with the property, including: - Housing violations - Building violations - Enforcement violations - Housing complaints - Sanitation requests and/or - Civic maintenance requests The City has released 15 Snapchat filters in total. Filters for Roxbury, Charlestown, and Hyde Park went live in June.

Viewers are encouraged to interact with this public artwork through independent exploration or by leaving their mark at events hosted by the Ed Portal throughout the duration of the exhibition. The Living Wall is the newest iteration of artist Lindsey Kocur’s Free Space Project, a series of interactive installations designed to directly engage the community. Kocur is a Boston-based artist—and the Director of Visual Art at the West End House Boys and Girls Club in Allston—who works primarily in mixed-media painting, drawing, and installation.
