The Village Center will primarily be common space included in the residential square footage such as a multi-purpose room, Resident Service Coordinator offices, lobby, marketing/leasing office, and potentially a small resale shop and salon for residents. The ground floor will also contain approximately 1,200 square feet of commercial space, which is envisioned as a convenience store with fresh foods that would primarily serve the Proponent's staff, its residents and would also be open to the broader community. Approximately 70 parking spaces are proposed -41 in a parking garage and 29 surface parking spaces. http://www.bostonplans.org/projects/development-projects/j-j-carroll-redevelopment Email Contact: Lance.Campbell@Boston.Gov The comment period for 449 Cambridge Street ends on Saturday, November 30, 2019. BPDA Project Description: The Proponent proposes to construct two, independent, multi-family residential buildings, one at each parcel. The Cambridge Street building would have seven floors and a gross floor area (GFA) of approximately 131,000 sf, with approximately 127 dwelling units, approximately 2,400 sf of retail / restaurant / services space, and approximately 80 accessory parking spaces. The Emery Road building would also have seven floors, a GFA of approximately 33,000 sf, approximately 39 dwelling units, and no on-site parking. The Proposed Project would be subject to the Mayor’s Executive Order regarding inclusionary affordable housing, dated February 29, 2000, as amended, as well as the Boston Planning & Development Agency’s (BPDA’s) Inclusionary Development Policy (IDP). The Proponent plans to set aside thirteen percent (13%) of the approximately 166 dwelling units proposed at the Site as IDP units, for a total of twenty-two (21.58) on-site, affordable housing units. http://www.bostonplans.org/projects/development-projects/449-cambridge-street Email Contact: Michael.A.Sinatra@Boston.Gov The comment period for Allston Yards ends on Monday, December 9, 2019. BPDA Project Description: The Allston Yards redevelopment will create a new neighborhood at the nexus of Allston, Brighton, and the new Boston Landing district. The Proponent intends to redevelop an existing approximately 10.6-acre Project Site with a mixed-use, transit-oriented development (“TOD”) consisting of residential, office, restaurant, fitness and retail uses, including a flagship grocery store, and a new approximately one-acre public open space (“Community Green”) to be activated with programming to enhance use and enjoyment, such as outdoor health and wellness events, public art exhibits, music concerts and holiday festivals. The Proposed Project has been refined significantly since the PNF filing in January 2018 based on feedback received from abutters, elected officials, BPDA staff, the Boston Civic Design Commission (“BCDC”), various state and city agencies, and the Impact Advisory Group

(“IAG”). Key issues that were addressed through the redesign included: reduced building density and height (especially at the neighborhood edges to the east and south); explored a greater variety in building height for a more interesting skyline; reduced housing density and reevaluated office space given the growing demand in the area; increased the size of public open space and landscaped area; and improved connections to the Boston Landing MBTA commuter rail station. http://www.bostonplans.org/projects/development-projects/allston-yards Email Contact: Michael.A.Sinatra@Boston.Gov The comment period for 11 Faneuil Street ends on Tuesday, December 31, 2019. BPDA Project Description: The Project Site is comprised of approximately 19,530 square feet of underutilized commercial land. The Proposed Project includes the redevelopment of the Project Site by replacing the existing commercial facilities including a Meineke shop and The Bagman store with a new residential building, landscape design, vehicular and pedestrian access measures and associated improvements.City Realty (the “Proponent”)is proposing a new residential development that is approximately 43,820 gross square feet in size and includes forty-one (41) residential condominium units. The Proposed Project will also include fifty-one (51) associated parking spaces and a bike room with space for fifty-two (52) bicycles at the ground level. http://www.bostonplans.org/projects/development-projects/11-faneuil-street Email Contact: Michael.A.Sinatra@Boston.Gov Veronica B.
