Italian Film Series returns to Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre

Chiacchierate al Marconi
For another year, Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre has buzzed with excitement as the Italian Film Series, in partnership with the Istituto Italiano di Cultura Sydney, was officially launched. The event was graced by the presence of Dr Paolo Barlera, Director of the Institute, who kicked off the monthly film series with great enthusiasm.
The evening started with a pre-film reception featuring mezze plates from the renowned Bellbird Dining & Bar, which set the tone for the rest of the night.
Durante la festa delle castagne che si tiene annualmente al Club Marconi di Bossley park, il gruppo culturale "Coffee and Chat" si è dato appuntamento per una per una conversazione informale della lingua italiana.
L'evento, aperto a tutti coloro che parlano o vorrebbero parlare italiano, si svolge in varie località di Sydney in ambienti dove ci si può rilassare, sorseggiare un buon caffè, ordinare uno spuntino e soprattutto conversare in italiano. Questa è un'esperienza per apprendere la parlata italiana. È proprio come essere in Italia, in un ambiente italiano e tra italiani.
La festa al Marconi è stata l'occasione di incontrare nuovi amici e oltre al caffè, assaggiare le buonissime castagne e sorseggiare un ottimo bicchiere di vino.
Tutti possono unirsi al gruppo che si riunisce ogni 4° sabato del mese fino al 26 agosto 2023.
