Obey When it comes to filming, the producer knows best.

The Shot Allie with an AK47? Yeah. This happened.

Cliff Hiking + Sipping What would you do at the edge of a 800’ cliff above the Pacific Ocean?

Pétanque It’s like bocce ball, but not quite. The game's French origin was befitting with regard to those who taught me how to play, as this particular group of winemakers all speak French. While I am fluent only in my native English and conversational in sign language, I am working on learning French. It’s been said that immersion is the best way to learn a new language. That said, while I don’t spend a lot of time in France, I do spend many hours playing and pouring with my favorite French-speaking wine makers. That works. Right?

Obey The producer knows best. So, obey what he has to say when it comes to filming. That said, when it came to sipping, my pourable suggestions were honored in preparation for Saarloos & Sons. CLICK TO VIEW ONLINE

The Shot Swinging between the vines on a swing made of barrel staves. Shooting in the vineyard with the winemaker, Keith Saarloos & an AK47. Sipping in the tasting room with an epic bottle of beautiful wine. My day at Saarloos & Sons was a good one. It was great, in fact. CLICK TO VIEW ONLINE

Cliff Hiking & Sipping What would you do at the edge of a 800' cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean? At Cape Lookout on Oregon's coastline, I chose to do some hiking & sipping. The Hike: Cape Lookout is found between Netarts Bay (where my favorite oysters come from) & the Pacific. On this trail, the forest unfolds around you with ancient conifer trees and views of the sea. The Sip: Prepare to raise your glass to a beautiful bottle of vino and an equality beautiful view. The immense Pacific paired well with the intense Gresser Vineyard 2009 Pinot Noir that produced waves of cranberry, Werther's Original, quince paste, mulberry & strawberry sauce. Cheers to new heights with Pinot Noir!
