Until death do us part… The covid has brought us all to the same starting point. Almost. It can happen to all of us. Covid and the death threat helped us realize we are all one, part of the same entity. This is an omni threat on our physical health, our mental state, our freedom, our community, nature, our movement and on our ability to choose. I exercise acceptance. Radical acceptance. אני/ ME The word ANI in Hebrew, my mother tongue, meaning ME. Each letter is expressed in a massive, sculpted way yet shivering and almost losing control. This work consists of three letters in Hebrew, read from right to left. Together they form one word. ANI. One sequence of these three parts. The chain is made of a textile ribbon with the word ME embroidered in high density and intensity in the three languages that constitute my life: Hebrew, French and English. Now melted into one sequence. reminding myself that even when death hovers over, I AM ALIVE.
