Current Activities Our relief efforts in Yabucoa are still going strong. We have been in touch with homeowners still waiting for help and assessing the homes in our queue. We still have a way to go, but we are making great progress. While still re-sealing roofs and replacing doors and windows, we have also been putting a strong emphasis on community projects From installing windows into the local community center to restoring baseball fields to painting bridges in the area, every bit of work we put into this city contributes to the hope of the community it surrounds. Our team's impact in Yabucoa shows the clear need that continues to exist. With the hard work of volunteers and staff alike, coupled with incredible and sustained volunteer interest, we have decided to extend the Puerto Rico program through March 2020.
Volunteer Voices “One of the most rewarding weeks of my life. I can't thank you all enough for making us feel like family and making our experience great. I am so impressed by the staff and the volunteers and how committed everyone is. We are all humbled by the passion of this organization.”
