JOBS COMPLETED

Current Activities Our first cohort of DM12 volunteers are now more than halfway through their 12-week service commitment, and have been making great progress on our home repair work queue. We’ve completed four homes and another three are underway. The team has been busy outside of working hours as well, with the most recent event being their very own version of Thanksgiving. “Friendsgiving” involved a movie screening, socially-distant games and a dance party.

Community Stories Peter and his family are the latest recipients of our high-quality interior home repair, and they couldn’t be more happy with how the house turned out. They invited the whole team to have an outdoor, socially-distant handover party to celebrate! We were also able to collaborate with the Red Cross, who installed four smoke detectors in the home upon completion. Built in 1907, this is the first time the home has ever had them. Left Photo: Peter’s newly repaired home and some of his positive feedback captured on our monitoring and evaluation form.
