Current Activities We are committed to the long-term recovery efforts in Florida through December 2019. We continue to provide assistance to homeowners in Bay County, filling the immediate and unmet needs of those still struggling to recover. One year since Michael hit and the team continues to find homeowners who have received little to no assistance. We will complete response work (mucking, gutting, debris removal, mold sanitation) until the need is no longer present. In July, our Hurricane Michael program officially transitioned into the recovery phase. At which point, our scope expanded to include a variety of interior home rebuild and repairs. So far, the team has completed 5 rebuild sites!
Volunteer Voices “I had a wonderful experience with All Hands. This is my second time with the Hurricane Michael Project and it was equally as great as my first experience. I witnessed the project's flawless transition from response to recovery and was fortunate enough to see the expressions of the homeowners we helped. Thank you so much for letting me volunteer. I honestly do not know how I've gone so long without All Hands and Hearts in my life.”
