Current Activities Our all-staff team in Jackson County are making great progress and have now completed a total of 10 high-quality, interior home repairs! With 11 more homes in their work queue, the team will be continuing their efforts apace in the coming months. In order to stay focused and aligned, each morning the team holds a socially-distanced “Stand Up Meeting” to discuss their objectives, needs, and barriers for the day ahead.
Partner Spotlight Since day one, we’ve worked closely with partner organizations to ensure we have a consistent work queue and are reaching homeowners with the highest level of need. United Methodist Committee of Relief (UMCOR) is one of those organizations and we’re delighted to have recently partnered with them on a ground-up construction (new build) home for Ms. Teresa. This permanent home replaces Ms. Teresa’s previous mobile home, which was destroyed by the hurricane. With a solid reputation for our high-quality interior works, our team contributed to this project by installing and painting all of the interior trim and the nine interior doors.
