SWORN TO SERVE MEET ALLEN’S NEW POLICE CHIEF Steve Dye was sworn in as Allen’s sixth chief of police on Feb. 1 following the retirement of former chief Brian Harvey. Chief Dye brings more than 35 years of law enforcement experience, including recent roles as the police chief and then city manager for the City of Grand Prairie. He decided to return to law enforcement to further his commitment to community policing, organizational transparency and partnerships based on mutual trust. Chief Dye is the recipient of numerous awards and recognitions in his career including two Community Policing awards from the International Association of Chiefs of Police. He looks forward to getting to know Allen residents, speaking to local civic organizations and working alongside officers to continue improving and innovating the services provided by the Allen Police Department.

ENGAGE ALLEN

PARTICIPATION PLATFORM

CELEBRATION PARK - 701 ANGEL PARKWAY

The City of Allen has begun to work on updating Allen’s Comprehensive Plan, creating a vision for the future of our whole community. To create a vibrant plan for Allen’s future, this process will involve input from everyone who is invested in Allen’s success, including residents, business owners and City staff. Over the course of the next year, you will have several opportunities to share your thoughts on Allen’s future and provide feedback on the 2045 Comprehensive Plan – both at in-person events and on Engage Allen, the City of Allen’s official online participation platform. In addition to online feedback opportunities, Engage Allen will be the home of information and resources about the Comprehensive Plan.

Engage Allen is the City of Allen’s official online participation platform. The platform will guide residents though project timelines and highlight current feedback opportunities. Creating an account is FREE, simple and feedback can be completed from anywhere. Get involved in your City today!
