Masterclasses

CLASSES

Classes are held by renowned artists and lecturers involving at least 3 hours per week per student. Participants have the choice between concert-, solo- and chamber music literature. Also existing ensembles can be coached.

ACCOMPANIMENT

In addition to the classes, numerous accompanists will be available to help participants study and prepare for the music programme within the context of the course.

CHAMBER MUSIC CLASSES

Chamber music classes are offered for pianists, string players, wind instrument players and mixed ensembles. Surcharge: € 50,– per week

CONCERTS

Participants may perform in one of the 20 concerts of the Summer Academy. Joint attendance of concerts (Concerts of the Summer Academy are free for participants, participants can obtain tickets for most other concerts of the festival for € 5,– as special offer).

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• Accommodation incl. breakfast

• Class venue: Kunsthaus Horn

• Pianos for practice will be available for at least 3 hours per day and participant

• Participants may practise in their rooms in agreement with their roommates, an additional limited number of practice rooms will be offered.

• Passive course attendance is possible upon registration.

• We recommend to all participants to obtain a personal travel and health insurance.

• In case of your cancellation, the following will be charged: cancellation by 30th June: registration fee of € 130,– cancellation until 1st August: 50% of the course fee and accomodation (incl. registration fee, course fee, additional offers) cancellation after 1st August: 100% of the course fee and accomodation (incl. registration fee, course fee, additional offers)

If the courses are cancelled due by official decree, we will refund already paid course fees (incl. accommodation and additional offers), according to the confirmation/invoice.
