Tomoko Sawallisch

Soloist in Europe and Japan, debut in Germany with the first Brahms piano concert. Enthusiastic chamber musician in cooperation with e.g. Stephan Koncz, Ingolf Turban und Markus Wolf. Steinway artist in 2015, belongs to a selected circle of international renowned pianists. Master studies with Gerhard Oppitz. Winner of numerous prizes and awards in her homeland Japan.

Since 2018 accompanist at the University for Music and Performing Arts Vienna. Prize winner of numerous national and international competitions such as International Johannes Brahms Competition Poertschach and at the International Chamber Music Competition Pienerolo, with the Stratos Quartett. Concert at Vienna Musikverein, Brucknerhaus Linz, Dvoˇrák Festival in Czech Republic, Il Timbro Festival in Italy and Wigmorehall in London.
