Sieglinde Michalko

Teacher at the Joe Zawinul music school Gumpoldskirchen, organist of the Deutschordenskirche Gumpoldskirchen as well as choir leader of the Atzgersdorfer Men’s Choral Society 1880. Numerous concerts at home and abroad, recordings for CD, radio and TV. Is greatly demanded as accompanist, especially for singers. Studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna under Prof. H. Langer-Rühl (piano), Prof. I. Ahlgrimm (cembalo), Mag. F. Lessky (organ). Accompanist of the Wiener Singakademie for many years.

Since 2010 lecturer at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and leading a class for correpetition for vocalists. Cooperation with well-known singing teachers e.g. with H. Lazarska, F. Araiza, G. Kahry, R. Piernay and M. Honig. Accompanist and music director, 2018 participation in productions including “Guillaume Tell” (Theater an der Wien), “Die Walküre” (Posen), “Der Silbersee” (Warsaw); 2014/15 he was tutor of the Young Ensemble at the Chamber Opera, now accompanist of the portrait concerts. Since 2003 close cooperation with the vocal ensemble of the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival and the Lübeck Choir Academy, joint participation in numerous projects in Europe, South America and Asia.
