SOME KEY FACTS
Plastic pollution is one of the major environmental challenges of our time
Cambodia is one of the most vulnerable countries to climate change, and plastic pollution is part of the problem.
Cambodians living in cities consume 2,158 plastic bags per person per year (almost 6 plastic bags per day)
Phnom Penh generates about 214,000 tons of plastic waste per year.
Cambodia produces over 4 million tons of waste per year, of which about 20% is plastic.
In Phnom Penh alone, more than 10 million plastic bags are used on a daily basis.
Alongside damaging biodiversity, the production of over 300 million tons of new plastic every year in the world depletes natural resources and contributes to greenhouse gas emissions that cause climate change.

THE #ONESTEPNOPLASTIC MOVEMENT
Initiated in July 2022 by All Dreams Cambodia & Tos Yerng, the #ONESTEPNOPLASTIC movement is willing to federate as many people as possible, and also to mobilize all stakeholders of the tourism industry, in order to combat plastic pollution in Cambodia and make our beloved country a top tourism destination, and a decent place to live for all.
➢ Improve attractiveness of Cambodian tourism destinations and experiences
➢ Contribute to the wellbeing of local residents
➢ Raise awareness and promote responsible behavior through the « Re-Five » song by Tos Yerng to emphasize on a small step to reduce plastic waste.
#ONESTEPNOPLASTIC, A RESPONSIBLE CAMPAIGN
#ONESTEPNOPLASTIC is a CARBON NEUTRAL CAMPAIGN
Calculation of the carbon footprint of each event in order to offset it by purchasing carbon credits from and for Teuk Saat 1001, or supporting ecological projects in collaboration with the Ministry of the Environment.
Partnership with Chip Mong Ecocycle and Eco-Bricks to process and recycle the waste collected in each city.
Providing free drinking water to all participants during each clean-up operation.
This filtered water is purchased from Teuk Saat 1001, an association to which All Dreams Cambodia donates 2 USD per participant in order to provide free drinking water for one year to a child in an elementary school.

On February 10, 2023, the CCIF - French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Cambodia awarded All Dreams Cambodia: "Grand Prix des Affaires 2022 - Environmental Responsibility".
This award recognizes our company's strong efforts and commitments to sustainable actions to improve environmental conditions in Cambodia.
THE TRAVEL CHANGEMAKERS AWARD 2023
On October 3, 2023 at the WiT Singapore conference, All Dreams Cambodia received The Travel Changemakers Award 2023 - Environmental Awareness & Action for its #ONESTEPNOPLASTIC campaign to combat plastic pollution in Cambodia and raise awareness among young people.
The Travel Changemakers Awards 2023 are organised by WiT in conjunction with ATTIA to celebrate innovators in the Asia Pacific who seized the opportunity to introduce new initiatives and programs to transform their organisations and impact the entire industry.
