COLLEGE PRAYER

SPECIALISM SUCCESS

An Irish Prayer

Congratulations to the following Y12 Economics and Business students who have all successfully gained paid internships and are due to start in the next few weeks. Harry Jaques has a six week paid internship with The Lloyds Bank Group (Halifax) based in Crewe. He starts on 6 July. The remainder of The CAUK students are due to start their placements on 13 July. Libby Riddell and Megan Royle have successfully gained placements with Chrome based in Macclesfield where they will be working on a variety of projects linked to Marketing, Event Organisation and Finance. Finally, 3 students have been offered internships with Peaks and Plains Housing Trust. James Bradbury will work in Peak Property, George Jackson in Housing and Matthew McKernan in Contracts Maintenance.

May God give you... For every storm, a rainbow, For every tear, a smile, For every care, a promise, And a blessing in each trial. For every problem life sends, A faithful friend to share, For every sigh, a sweet song, And an answer for each prayer. Amen. STUDENT CONDUCT OUTSIDE OF THE COLLEGE

Parents Please Note: Student Conduct Outside of the College Following recent incidents outside College hours and in the local community, we would like to draw all parents attention to their role in ensuring children are properly supervised and behaving appropriately at ALL times. We define good behaviour as that which flows from our Christian values of honourable purpose, respect. compassion, co-operation and stewardship. Teachers have a statutory power to discipline students for misbehaving outside the school premises. Section 89(5) of the Education and Inspections Act 2006 gives the Head/Principal a specific statutory power to regulate students’ behaviour in these circumstances "to such extent as is reasonable". This college’s behaviour policy allows us to discipline a student for any misbehaviour when the child is: - Taking part in a school/college organised or school related activity - Travelling to or from school/college - Wearing school/college uniform - In some other way identifiable as a student at the school/college Or misbehaviour at any time, whether or not the conditions above apply, that: - Could have repercussions for the orderly running of the school/college - Or poses a threat to another student or member of the public - Or could adversely affect the reputation of the school/college The college reserves the right to work with the police on such matters if necessary and sanction if required. This may include the use of detention, isolation, suspension to Cornerstone, fixed term exclusion and permanent exclusion (Extract from All Hallows Behaviour Policy) DEGREE SUCCESS Congratulations to former students on their recent degree successes Keshia Broughton
