I am pleased to provide an academic reference for Alina Enache, I confirm that Alina has just been awarded BA Arch which encapsulates riba Part 1. I have tutored and reviewed Alina at various stages throughout her three years of full time study and over this period I witnessed a genuine growth and maturation in intellectual performance , design ability and true architectural understanding.

Alina exhibits an intellectual ability which place her in the top five percentile of her cohort and perhaps more importantly she is not limited to sequential thinking but rather is capable of lateral thinking which imbibe her with creativity, innovation and understanding. Her written, numeric, cad and verbal presentation abilities are very good as is her application and focus. From her three year academic record from this university I can confirm that Alina successfully completed every component of this course at first attempt .

Alina has a very strong work ethic, she will thoroughly research her topic, gain reasoned understanding and then apply task specific methodologies to conclusion. Important within the academic world is working with others and throughout her studies at this university Alina has demonstrated an excellent natural ability to work with others. Her natural adoption of strategic thinking ensures that all of her activities are focused on the common task and she is not easily diverted by unimportant issues. Alina is by her cohort standards exceptionally capable and prepared for a year in practice and I have no doubt t hat she will make an excellent employee.

Re: Reference for Ms Alina Enache

Dear Ms Smith;

My name is Ashraf Salama and I am Professor of Architecture and Head of the Department of Architecture at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, United Kingdom. I am glad to be afforded the opportunity of writing this reference to one of recent excellent graduates; Ms Alina Enache.

I have appointed Alina as a part-time research assistant since May 2018. She was recommended to me by other academics having prior knowledge of her skills and abilities. Over a period of 6 months she has performed a number of tasks that include the following:

- Redevelop and support the development of a number of articles and short reports to be submitted for publication in the international press of architecture and urban design. These were relevant to urban design issues with a focus on usability of urban open spaces as they relate to migrant communities.

- Conduct research and develop narrative discussions on four architects and scholars as part of a study, which will be included in a book commissioned by Routledge in London.

- Writing fully referenced summaries of the information gathered about various projects in developing contexts.

Alina is punctual, committed, and has excellent work ethics. I have witnessed consistent performance with quality production during her work with me. Her abilities span across wide range of skills that go beyond designing and include writing, editing, and conceptualising ideas into articulate discussions and narrative reflections.

She has the ability to learn and grasp the requirements of new tasks quickly, and perform very well individually and in teams. During her work with me, Alina has not requested any leave days. It goes without saying that I would definitely re-employ her again.

As a recent graduate, Ms Enache will undoubtedly bring excellence and contribute to the ethos of your firm. It is without hesitation that I highly recommend Dr Campbell for the position without any reservation whatsoever.

Respectfully,

Ashraf Salama
