School Holiday Fun
The YTAA are an annual writing competition where entrants write and produce their own book. The Awards aim to inspire children and young people in the NT to explore their ideas and turn them into stories.
Did you know the Alice Springs Public Library has a wide selection of books in languages other than English?
School holidays are almost upon us, and that means it’s almost time to look for ways to fill those class-free days.
That’s right, your Library stocks books in languages from across the globe so you’re sure to find something to tempt the linguist in you!
The Alice Springs Public Library is currently planning for the school holiday period, beginning late in June and will be offering special activities for Alice Springs youth.
The competition is open to all Territorians 18 years and under and entries close on 27 August. Categories include: • • • • • •
