Young residents of Alice Springs will have more opportunities to attend a Planateers Youth Climate Series workshop with another two sessions to be held in June.
On Saturday 5 June, Arid Edge Environmental Services will present a Permaculture & Composting workshop at the Westside Community Garden, at 56 Milner Rd. This session will give participants the skills to create a compost heap in their very own backyard!

The final AEES workshop will be held at the Alice Springs Community Garden, 105 Burke St on Saturday 19 June. It will be based around plants, animals and sustainable irrigation focusing largely on developing practical skills around pruning and sustainable irrigation.

The closing date for entries into the 2021 Phoney Film Festival is fast approaching, but if you’re stuck on ideas we are here to help.
So, if you’re between 12-25 years of age come along on Saturday, 12 June from 11am - 3pm at the Council Civic Centre Function Room. Register at YDO@astc.nt.gov.au or call 8950 0548.
The Alice Springs Youth Action Group will be hosting another free Phoney Workshop to give you the kickstart you need to take your phoney film to the next level and help you take home your share of the $1,500 prize pool!
