One person’s rubbish is another’s treasure as the old saying goes, and that’s certainly the case at The Rediscovery Centre. The Rediscovery Centre can be found within the Regional Waste Management Facility, and offers a wonderful array of pre-loved goodies. Some of these goodies have been fashioned into entries for Council’s Alice Upcycle Art Prize. The Alice Upcycle Art Prize features recycled & repurposed art made by Central
Australian artists, with $7,000 worth of prizes to be awarded. Entries for the Prize have closed with the awards night to be held at The Rediscovery Centre on Friday, 18 June. All entries will be available to view at The Rediscovery Centre in a special exhibition for the public to enjoy from Saturday, 19 June to Saturday, 3 July.
