TEN YEARS. Those first ten years began with a boldly focused vision: build premium, hard-use knives that would be unmatched in quality and performance. Simple? Hardly. Because we also challenged ourselves to use new materials, techniques, and technologies that were rarely found in production knifemaking. It was a risk. But that’s what makes life exciting. Many of you got excited, too. You paid our products compliments, calling them “real beasts” and “overbuilt.” Better yet, you bought them. Even more important, you used them—taking them into the field with you or making them your trusted EDC. Now we’re readying for the next ten years. New materials are inspiring new designs. Your response to our products is telling us what you want. And we are building it. There are fewer military-style knives, though ZT will always support those who serve. But we now offer more refined models as well, EDC-perfect and even suit-worthy. And every one of them continues to be proudly overbuilt. Here’s to the next ten years—and the next challenge.

0620 Living ready is what you do. No excuses necessary, none given. The 0620 and 0620CF, from Zero Tolerance and Emerson, were born ready. Thanks to the famous Emerson “wave shaped opening feature,” they even come out of your pocket ready. The “wave shaped feature” is designed so that as you withdraw the knife from your pocket, the curved wave hooks on the edge of your pocket and pulls the blade open. Once fully withdrawn, it’s fully ready for use. The blade is a modified tanto style that locks securely into place with a frame lock with hardened steel insert.
