Air Flow: Constructed with mesh panels, vents and/or a cape back for maximum airflow.

Moisture Wicking: A fabric function that helps transport moisture (sweat) away from your skin.

Antimicrobial: Antimicrobial technology inhibits the growth of bacteria (prevents odour).

Rain Ready* : A rating of 1-5 for water resistance, 5 is fully seam sealed waterproof.

CCW Ready: Designed and built to confidentially carry a concealed sidearm.

RAPIDraw™: Designed and built with features to allow the fast presentation of a concealed sidearm.

Cold Weather Ready* : A rating of 1-5 for cold weather performance, 5 is warmest.

Reinforced Zones: Features reinforced or doublethick fabric in high wear zones like seat, knees and elbows. Men: Our products are all about the fit, that’s why we build them based on different body shapes. This product is ONLY available in a MEN’S fit.

Rescue Global - the international disaster risk reduction and response charity have really been putting their 5.11 gear to the test this year! In climates as varied as the tropical humidity of the Philippines to the dry, arid plains of Spain, the kit has to work as hard as they do. It must be fit for purpose when undertaking training and operations in these tough conditions, but also smart and professional when meeting with senior leaders from governments, militaries, NGOs and private sector organisations around the world. 2017 sees the team further develop its Airborne Insertion Capabilities (AIC), which will involve parachuting into disaster areas when all other means of access are denied. They aim to bring with them professionals or subject matter experts such as local / national incident commanders, doctors, engineers, interpreters via tandem freefall. Carrying communications and sustainment equipment, the Rescue Global Pathfinder teams are able to gather information and relay

it back to national decision-makers. The Pathfinder team has also been developing Swift Water Rescue (SWR) skills, with a view to an increased

focus on flood response projects throughout 2017. The 5.11 kit that they wear beneath their dry suits prove invaluable to keep them protected from the cold. In the Philippines, the Rescue Global team have been operating throughout the Visayas region, as many of the communities there are subject to waveupon-wave of disastrous events such as typhoons and earthquakes. Rescue Global works with these communities before and after disasters, as well as responding to them - and aims to understand what factors are influential in the ability of individuals and communities to recover from a disaster. The ultimate goal for Rescue Global is to increase the resilience of vulnerable nations, organisations and communities, so understanding all the phases of the disaster cycle, and unpicking the relationships between the phases, is critical to achieving this. â&#x20AC;&#x153;Rescue Global uses some of the most advanced, robust communications equipment ever deployed, which they have themselves helped design and develop for conflict and disaster arenas.
