About me
My name is Alexandria Casemore and I am 22 Years old.
I have recently graduated from Coventry University with a 2:1 BA(Hons) Interior Architecture and Design. I am an ambitious individual with the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
I have always had a passion for Art and photography, with a growing passion for Architecture during and post my degree. This has spurred me into continuing my studies and applying for the part 2, Architectural masters degree, to progress into the next level of the field.

Space Museum, Hotel hybrid
I produced the unique idea of merging the hotel and a museum together as it would allow people to make use of the museums opening times and if they enjoyed the museums exhibitions enough, they would want to book the hotel. My desired outcome for this project is to create a positive atmosphere with unforgettable memories.

The idea of the merged hotels were to make the experiences for the children that little bit more immersive where they feel as though they are able to step into the museum and have the chance to potentially fulfil a future passion.

Experimental models
While experimenting for different spacial maquette ideas, I decided that looking into space as my concept and trying to incorporate my themes of sensory perception and lighting I would need to make a more abstract design.
For this maquette I decided to play with lighting and different types of lights. One in low light, one with LED and fairy lights and another in a normal room light. All maquettes cast different lighting effects and produce very different atmospheres for the potential users.
Listening to Holst Planet. I found most inspiration for the shapes in Mercury, the winged messenger.
Conversation pit models and photoshopped render
This maquette experiementation conversation pit chair was one of the main features for the exhbitions.
To explain my idea better I created a photoshop render of the potential space. The render shows the clients sitting in and around the conversation pit. They are able to look at the shown exhibition in the middle on the pit on the celling.

For this Proejct we had to choose a topic within ‘the now’. (what issues are going on in the world right now) For my topic I chose climate change. I decided the best way to get the message across would be to make an interactive pavillion.
The structure would mainly consist of tall concrete and glass structures surrounding a large tree. The main focus of my pavilion would be the climate change clock constantly giving people a ‘reality check’ that if we dont make a change now that soon we will get to the point where the change will be irreversable.
Each of the pavillion structures will have information boards giving more insight to the severity.

The elephant building
For this project, we were given the task of picking artists and transforming our building into a (3D art) museum. The paintings the artists created we had to try and visualise what it would look like as a 3D room.
The artists I chose were all given their own rooms:
- Sandro Botticelli
- El Lizzitzky
- George Braque
For each of these artists i chose a piece of their art that i thought stood out the most to me and transformed these into 3D models / sculptures in each of the rooms.

For this task I was given by my mentor I used a revit file compelted by another colleague, imported this into twin motion and decorated / created the video by myself. I stuck to a minimal colour theme and got ideas of the room layout from both the revit file and the information the client gave as to what their vision is for the room.
For this task I was given a revit file completed by another colleague, imported it into twinmotion. For this house the clients had multiple visions of their space so I was given the opportunity to practise and create different versions of the house. The main idea was to keep the house very minimal.

For this personal project that I carried out while at my work experience. My main focus was to improve my skills on the new software I had been introduced to. i.e Revit and Twinmotion. I started from scratch, using other houses for inspiration, following tutorials and creating sketches of the building / rooms and layout.
I enjoyed the independace of finally grasping how to work revit and seeing the finished product come to life in my animation.

Essex Gardens was a client given to me by my work mentor. I originally started with the house survey that was carried out by my mentor.
I then took the building survey and have been working on the design concepts.
The sketches above are the conceptul designs for the front section of the house.
This included the bathroom / storage area and downstairs bathroom. For each of these options I decided to use the ideas from the client (they wanted to see if a shower could fit downstairs) and from there I made the bathroom smaller, and the office / study bigger.
With each of the concepts i had to keep in mind what the client wanted and the changes given to me by my mentor.
The three sketches above were made as beginning conceptual designs. I printed off the floor plan I created on revit, using tracing paper I created three different designs.
The idea for this house was to make the space feel larger and give the house a more open plan feel. With this in mind for all the options I made sure that the kitchen was in a different position each time.
Please find my animation to the concept designs here!
