Operating Principle Of The Alemlube Lubrication System

• The ALEMLUBE LUBRICATION SYSTEM (ALS) is a progressive system design designed to work with greases up to NLGI 2.

• Progressive means that the points are lubricated one after another via progressive divider valves.

• The system is designed to provide the correct volume of grease for each grease point.

• If a point refuses to take grease, the pressure in the system will rise in an attempt to force the grease into that point.

• If the pump pressure exceeds 280Bar, the pump relief valve will activate, giving a visual indication that there is a problem with the system.

Key Components

• The electrical driven piston pump (1) delivers the lubricant to the main (master) divider valve ( 2 ).

• From there it is distributed to the secondary dividers ( 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 ) in the correct proportions.

• From the secondary dividers the lubricant is conveyed to the lubrication points.

• An on-board controller regulates the lubrication time and the pause time to deliver the correct volume of lubricant.

• A manual push button is located on the right hand side of the pump next to the power cable.

ELECTRIC PUMPS - GREASE (ILC-MAX-G) and OIL (ILC-MAX-O) APPLICATIONS

Ideally suitable for the automatic grease lubrication of all types of industrial machines and chassis lubrication for trucks, trailers, buses, construction and mechanical handling vehicles.

In conjunction with DPX progressive dividers, more than three hundred greasing points can be automatically centralized from just a single grease pump.

Operation

The pumps are designed for intermittent or continuous operation to provide regular pre-programmed lubrication cycles as required for the application.

A direct-mounted electric geared motor drives an internal rotating cam, which can actuate up to three externally mounted pump elements.

Every pumping element has a relief valve to protect the system against over-pressure and give indication of a blockage downstream.

To have a bigger discharge it is possible to collect the three outlets from the pumping elements together in a single tube.

Pump Description

The transparent reservoir has 2kg, 4kg or 8kg capacity and metallic reservoir has 5kg. The pumps can attain a maximum recommended operating pressure of 250 bar per outlet and delivery of up to 3.52 cc/minute per outlet.

The internal drive shaft is coupled to a specially formed stirring paddle in the reservoir of the pump unit which ensures continuous priming of the pump element inlets, even with grease up to NLGI No.2 consistency at ambient temperature down to -20 °C

The gear motor is protected by mean of an IP-56 protection degree covering (NYLON PA6 +30% FIBERGLASS). The seal is guarantee from well mounted “o” ring. The pumps can have an integrated electronic control timer built into the covering. The timer can be pre programmed to automatically operate the pump with variable “working time” and “pause times”.
