Illustration and mapping lab

ARCHIMAPPA is a personal project born in 2017. It is a space to draw, to experiment and to find new ways of portraying landscape, the city and cartography.

Using illustration as a mean, projects like “Los Lugares Invisibles” (Invisible places) reclaim all facades and spaces of the city that are only in the citizens mind. “The invisible places” is a concept focused on promoting the hidden folklore in cities that are not seen by tourism and, despite that, it is more related with locals than all of those pictures that are usually printed on postcards.

The postcard is an interesting media of contact. It is linked to a place, to a sceneario and/or a landscape, but at the same time, it links people around the world using only the written word. It tells stories and connects places.

In the next pages you will find a short summary of my work, illustrations about places and cartographies about worlds. All that you will find here tells a story about people, about the city where they are from.
