Also known as “Fool’s Gold” as it was sometimes mistaken for gold. Pyrite is found in large quantities mainly in coal mines and near clay quarries. Do not cleanse with water. Pyrite is a mineral of physical grounding, feminine and masculine, nature and nurture, which is especially good for us at this time of year after all the festivities, celebrations, travelling, gatherings and indulgences the previous month of December can bring us. Pyrite is also especially good for keeping you safe, protected and strengthens the connection to your etheric cord while astral travelling and during your dream incubation time of deep rest and restoration of the mind, body, and spirit and will bring you back quickly and safely when needed. This is due to it being a lighter grounding stone as opposed to the dense very heavy grounding effects emitted from galena. Use pyrite between your feet when meditating or at the base chakra for grounding purposes when doing spiritual work especially out of body practices and as a tool for aura shielding. Pyrite can also be placed on any joints or sprains to relieve aches and pains. The channelled message for Pyrite is… "Silver, gold to ground and hold keeping safe your blessed soul, shielding, protecting and astral projection I’ll safely see you through, always keeping you connected and balanced to the cord that holds the true spiritual and magical essence of you." Snow Quartz white and sometimes icy-looking appearance symbolizes clarity and innocence. It will help you see the world through clear and bright eyes, and it will allow you to see all the wonders that this universe can readily give you. Snow quartz possesses the same properties as clear quartz, but with softer feminine qualities. These feminine or yin energies will support you to counteract excessive male or yang energies within your energy system, to provide you with a healthy balance and calmness within yourself. It is known to support the pituitary and pineal glands, which are responsible for regulating your body’s hormonal functions, therefore is great for assisting with the challenges that breastfeeding mothers may encounter. It is especially good for supporting women with pre-menopausal symptoms and throughout the process of change. Snow Quartz can also help in balancing some emotional and traumatic experiences from childhood, and help you to look at patterns of victimhood or martyrdom. Snow quartz reminds you to view the world from your heart centre and through the innocent eyes of a child, grounded with the wisdom, knowledge, and experience of an adult.
