Establishment steps
As the land chosen by the construction company was on a slope, we decided to keep the original morphology of the land and arrange the houses in sequences, descen ding together with the slope, following the contours and moving as little earth as possible. We also studied the po sitioning of the sun so that all the houses made the most of the north aspect, taking advantage of the fact that the land was sloping, helping in the natural lighting of the houses, since any house was not blocking the entrance of the sun.

The house, located in a private condominium in Salvador of Bahia, Brazil, was designed to meet the needs of a young couple with a daughter. The terrain had a trapezoidal shape, with a front of 13m, 40m sides and a 24m back. The topogra phy was more favorable to the implantation of a building in a range of 20m from the front of the lot, since in this section the variation between levels was of 1,40m of height, the result of a slope that turned into a small plateau. The second half of the terrain had a slope of 10 meters height, with an average slope of 35%.

The northwest orientation of the lot required that the program of the residence be arranged in such a way as to avoid the keep coming from the west, potentiating the best winds received from the east quadrant.
The goal of the project was to have the smallest constructed area possible. The main carachteristic of the client brief was to have double foyer, a swimming pool and maxi mum green area..
On the ground floor, 1.40m above the level of the sidewalk, the whole social pro gram of the residence is developed around a central patio, totally visually permeable, where one has access to the living room, kitchen, video room and a toy room . All the rooms turn to the patio, promoting greater integration of the interior and ex terior spaces, functioning as a continuous plan that, from the living room, intercon nects to the green areas and the pool in the background.

This is a renovation project for a house, donated to a person in poverty condition, that bought a very small and old house in a dangerous and deteriorated nei ghborhood, more precisely, in a favela. The design plan was very simple, since the house was bought with an existing stair that led to the roof, the main intervention was the construction of new first floor addition, trans forming a ground floor house into 2 houses with diffe rent entrances. This way the owner could construct on the first floor a tiny house to live in and make an extra incoming from the rent of the ground floor that could also be renovated to fit better the rooms.

The Townhose for Elliston avenue in Adelaide, was a small example project for a company named Adelaide Buliding Consulting, that asked for a project to be made within just a few day, as an exemplo of my capacite to work with Re vit. uder pressure. The Project was delivered and during this design conception and planning was possible to understend something more about NCC and local laws in Austalia.
