TWO DECADES OF UNMATCHED QUALITY & PRECISION

ALAND is a respected name in property

Since launching ALAND more than 20 years ago, Andrew Hrsto has been the driving force behind the group's success.

When I founded ALAND my ambition was to build affordable, high-quality apartments across Western Sydney. I am proud that ALAND continues to identify new opportunities and, equally importantly, bring them to fruition. We currently have over 6,500 new apartments in the pipeline.

Today, ALAND is a forward-looking developer and builder with a unique set of skills. In addition to creating exciting new residential communities, we are now branching out into multi-sector projects combining retail, hospitality, hotel and prestige residential components.

In recent years, ALAND has tackled a number of significant major urban renewal projects that will transform abandoned or neglected sites into vibrant and attractive lifestyle precincts that appeal to upwardly mobile buyers and astute investors alike.

ALAND recently completed two new prestigious projects that have won a slew of international awards: Paramount on Parkes in Parramatta and Archibald by ALAND in Gosford. These elegant new developments effortlessly combine desirable locations, design flair, outstanding public amenities and superior craftmanship.

ALAND is operating in a challenging environment, but I remain focussed on creating beautiful, sustainable and long-lasting buildings that will meet Sydney’s lifestyle needs, now and into the future.

largely

due

to our highly qualified and dedicated workforce, and this is evident in the quality of our buildings.

Leadership

Since founding ALAND more than 20 years ago, Andrew Hrsto has been a driving force behind the group’s success.

He established the business with the goal of delivering quality aspirational housing to areas where people want to live, recognising that thoughtful land development and community amenity are at the core of a fulfilling urban lifestyle.

Andrew continues to champion ALAND's vision, having moved into an advisory role within the company. With his vast experience and expertise, he provides critical direction for ALAND's future projects, growth prospects and land acquisitions.

Andrew is a firm believer in the need for constant innovation at ALAND, aiming to create properties which aren't just bricks and mortar, but homes that represent a dream lifestyle choice with the potential for strong capital returns.

With a career in the construction and property sector that spans more than 20 years, George Tadrosse first joined ALAND in 2012 and was appointed to the role of CEO in 2019.

George started as ALAND’s Construction Manager and was asked to lead operations just seven years later – an achievement that he attributes to attitude, resilience and hard work. George looks at life skills as a critical element of success, rather than focussing solely on technical know-how. George’s leadership style is based on agility, understanding that change can occur quickly and that teams need to be able to adjust. He encourages open communication among team members and believes it is key in delivering positive results for ALAND.

Extremely proud of the work that ALAND delivers, George’s vision for the next decade is to look at new ways to deliver housing which exceeds customer expectations, while maintaining a high level of integrity and respect for ALAND’s core values.

The Hon. John Ajaka, the former president of the NSW Legislative Council, joined the ALAND Board in February 2025. During his 14 years in state parliament Mr Ajaka, a lawyer, held several ministerial portfolios, including Ageing, Disability Services and Multiculturalism, and sat on many parliamentary committees. During his time at ALAND, he aims to support the company in its quest to build high-quality homes and to create thriving new communities across Sydney and the Central Coast.

ALAND is one of Sydney’s largest private construction groups with an established track record of developing innovative and sustainable projects. For over two decades we have been creating award-winning residential projects and mixed-use developments that embody our core values of community, excellence and sustainability. Expertly planned, meticulously designed and completed to the very highest standard, each ALAND development delivers a rewarding, stylish, carefree lifestyle for many years to come.

The ALAND difference Numbers speak Volume

Awards ALAND's iCIRT & ISO ratings

In 2024 ALAND was awarded a Gold Star iCIRT rating and three ISO certificates. iCIRT is widely accepted across the Australian building industry, while ISO 45001 is an international standard for occupational health and safety management systems in the workplace.

ALAND operates an Integrated Management System (IMS) that ensures all aspects of safety, quality, employee wellbeing are compliant with the highest standards. Our ISO certification is testament to the effectiveness of our IMS system. ALAND is now working towards Office of the Federal Safety Commission (OFSC) Accreditation in 2025, which demonstrates a commitment to the highest level of safety standards.

iCIRT provides anyone looking to buy property with a register where they can find builders and developers with a proven track record of quality and integrity. Gold standard is the highest possible rating category in iCIRT.

The iCIRT rating system was developed by Equifax, a global data, analytics, and technology company, to help identify building practitioners and project teams with a proven track record, supported by objective evidence of their capability to deliver buildings the public can trust.

Creating assets that stand the test of time.

Apart from winning numerous industry awards, our core values have allowed

to keep raising the bar for long-term business opportunity and success.

"For the past two decades ALAND has focussed on creating vibrant new communities across Sydney, but in 2024 we achieved both a Gold Star iCIRT rating and three ISO certifications. These qualifications attest to the professionalism and high standards of our construction team."

As a key player in the property sector in Australia, we are committed to contributing to a sustainable future where people, the environment and the community exist harmoniously.

Our leadership team governs the overall ESG Policy providing strategic direction and oversight.

CASE STUDY | BOTTLEBRUSH

Bottlebrush in Schofields is a highly regarded, sustainably focussed project in Sydney's thriving North-West growth corridor. Bottlebrush is the first stage in the Schofield Gardens masterplanned precinct, launching to the market in October 2019 and completed in November 2020.

Innovative features

– Tesla batteries: Tesla Powerwall system can store 324kW of electricity

– Green Excellence: Schofield Gardens won a Canstar Blue Award

– Solar panels: Rooftop photovoltaic panels have a capacity of 201kW

– Food gardens: Residents harvest fresh fruit and herbs from the garden

The key sustainability features of Bottlebrush are:

1. The development was built with a clear purpose of sustainability, building a cleaner future and through a partnership with community energy network provider Energy Trade. Bottlebrush had the largest installation of Tesla Powerwalls in Australia;

2. Not only does the Bottlebrush incorporate a range of sustainable features, but it also met and achieved numerous sustainability targets throughout the building and construction stages;

3. Bottlebrush features a modern energy network, including onsite photovoltaic (PV) capacity and battery storage, three electric vehicle charging stations and a centralised hot water system;

4. When surveyed buyers say they chose Bottlebrush over other developments because of ALAND's approach to sustainability. As a result, Bottlebrush sold out off-the-plan prior to completion.

The ALAND Foundation is a Company Limited by Guarantee (CLG) with a public ancillary fund. It was launched in December 2024. Through partnerships with charitable organisations, the Foundation supports women escaping domestic violence, homeless young people and food programs helping those in need.

The Foundation supports and promotes vital public health outcomes and will undertake research into the fields of housing and personal wellbeing.

During its establishment phase, The ALAND Foundation will concentrate on its key focus areas and develop a systematic approach to partnering with organisations that possess the expertise, resources, and capability to achieve impactful results in those areas. To kick-start this effort, the ALAND Foundation has chosen to collaborate with three specific organisations: Habitat for Humanity, Youth off the Streets and Foodbank.

THREE CORE AREAS:
