General company information ESTMA Group started it’s activities in 1990 as one of the first private shipping companies in the former Soviet Union. We are shipping agency dealing with port agency services, liner agency, ship chartering and freight forwarding by sea, road, rail and air.
Head office of our company ESTMA Ltd. is located in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, nowadays group has expanded activities in following countries: Latvia (Riga and Ventspils), Lithuania (Klaipeda and Kaunas), Russia (Moscow, St.Petersburg, Kaliningrad and Samara), Ukraine (Odessa) and China (Beijing). Our most active regions in view of port agency services are Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
Our port agency team is very actively working in all Baltic ports rendering agency service to oil tankers, dry cargo vessels, cruise liners, ferries, navy vessels and attending various special projects. Apart to usual shipping services we also offer to our customers shore excursions, travel agency and cargo insurance services in cooperation with long-term partners.

Port agency services description ESTMA Group delivers a comprehensive Port Agency services in all major Baltic ports to help maximize ship's operations. ESTMA can offer: qualified and operative organization of activities which affect on smooth turnover of vessels e.g. good communication and relation with Master/Owners, Port authorities and other port services companies; proper information and prospects just in time; to be reliable partner and customer focused educated and experienced staff Our well-trained and experienced team cater full around the clock service to the oil tankers, dry cargo, container, passenger and navy ships. Depending on the demand of our customers we offer various standard port agency services in our region, such as: protecting agency service, husbandry services, local port agency services, port DA financial administration services and Baltic region hub agency services. All our boarding agents are fully aware of safety regulations for boarding dry cargo vessels carrying dangerous goods, oil tankers and other types of vessels. All personnel of agency departments equipped with minimum set of safety equipment consisting of safety coat, safety shoes, high visibility waistcoat, safety eyewear, safety gloves and safety helmet, what helps us to minimize risks for our own employees and employees and or contractors of our principals accordingly.

Port agency services description (contd.) All agency department specialists are aware of valid local legislation and emergency notification procedures, special casualty emergency notification instructions received from our various customers - traders and shipowners - are always available 24/7 on our internal server. In addition to standard port agency services we also offer to our customers following various additional services: Various port costs savings options: for our contractual partners we offer discounts on towage services in main Baltic ports and other port costs based on ESTMA contracts. Daily Baltic Ports Situation reports showing actual picture of all vessels, which loaded, presently loading and expected for loading oilproducts ex Baltic ports with exact information on each shipment. Daily ice reports (during ice season) on eastern part of Baltic sea describing latest ice situation in main ports Primorsk, Vysotsk/Vyborg, St.Petersburg, Tallinn/Muuga, Riga, Ventspils and Klaipeda. Access to database of icecharts covering Baltic sea in Adobe Acrobat Reader electronic format located on ESTMA server. Database consists of icecharts for winter navigation periods starting from winter 2003/2004, it is updated daily during the ice season. Baltic ports and oil terminals statistical reports – monthly or annual statistical reports on shipments of various oil products and/or chemicals ex some specific port(s) and/or oil terminal(s) upon specific requests of Principals (subject to type of information and availability). Reports on ownership and technical information covering all Baltic oil terminals.

ESTMA Ltd. is an associated member of FIATA (International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations), IATA (The International Air Transport Association), BIMCO (The Baltic and International Maritime Council), Estonian Freight Forwarders Association and Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. As a result of continuous process of development to achieve an excellent operational performance ESTMA Ltd. (Tallinn, Head office) has renewed the Certificate of Approval for Quality Management System as per ISO 9001:2000 standard. Our new approval certificate no. HEL0005972 is issued by Estonian branch of Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance Limited on the 01.06.2008 and valid untill 31.05.2011. Original approval was obtained already on 21.05.1999. Local port offices are located in Tallinn, Muuga, Kunda/Sillamae and Parnu ports.

Lithuania services Our Lithuanian branch "UAB ESTMA" was established in Klaipeda on 19.07.2006. Previously all activities were performed by the daughter company "Ocean Container Services Ltd." which was established on 28.08.2002 starting also with carriage of containers and as a representer of the Hapag-Lloyd Container line in Lithuania. Our Lithuanian branch holds valid agreement with Klaipeda port authorities.
