Job Summary

We seek a highly creative and detail-oriented Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team The ideal candidate will be responsible for the conception, development, and execution of high-quality visual and short-form content across our social media platforms This role demands creativity, technical know-how, and a passion for storytelling.

Reporting to Head of Socials, Community and Partnerships

Main Responsibilities

Content Creation and Management:

● Develop and execute a social media strategy aligned with the organisation's vision and goals

● Manage and oversee the creation and distribution of User-Generated Content (UGC) across websites, retailers, social channels, and search platforms.

● Create, direct, and manage Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube content.

● Conduct influencer and sampling campaigns from inception to completion

Engagement and Community Building:

● Engage daily with prospects on social media to grow our following, enhance online community engagement, increase visibility, and book consultations

● Utilise social platforms to source leads and build relationships with potential clients

Analytics and Reporting:

● Monitor and analyse social media and content performance using analytics tools

● Provide insights and reports on engagement metrics,

suggesting improvements to enhance reach and engagement

● Communicate key insights and performance data to stakeholders.

Collaboration:

● Work closely with the field and operations team based in Jos, Plateau State

● Support the team in building strong relationships with new and existing partners through outreaches.

Essential Education Requirements

Key Skills Required

How to apply?

● Professional fluency in English, both written and oral.

● Previous experience in social media management or content creation is essential.

● A professional degree in marketing is not required but would be advantageous.

● Excellent English language skills.

● Strong grasp of creative storytelling

● Proficiency in recording, editing, and uploading social media video content

● In-depth understanding of social media platforms, particularly TikTok and Instagram

● Passion for discussing and promoting brands or products.
